Great stay ☺️

I booked a room in this property for the weekend, we were given a room on the top floor, on the terrace, a kind of annex, beautiful, with a breathtaking view, very spacious and bright room, equipped with all amenities.
Very kind and super helpful staff, even the perfect breakfast☺️☺️
I will definitely return thanks

Lovely family run guest house. The owners were so lovely and helpful- always reachable.
The room was large, bright and clean.
Location is great- quiet and accessible. Close to the train station so easy to get to other towns.
Beach and amazing restaurants within walking distance.

Palazzo Sassi NOT recommended at all. Impossible to rest by the tremendous noise of the street and the heat of the habs.

We were guided by the good reviews we read of this hotel and so the disappointment was even worse and from our experience we do not recommend this hotel at all. We were a family of 4 people. The rest in the rooms was impossible because of the tremendous noise coming from the main street which is a two-way road in which cars, motorbikes, buses, etc. are passing at all hours (and when I say at all hours it is at all hours) with exaggerated traffic (even in the late hours of the morning so much that the trash truck at 5.30 am seems to be in the bathroom) and that with the windows closed since soundproofing is totally non-existent.
With the windows open you couldn’t even hear TV and it was hard to have a conversation because of the background noise. In addition the air conditioning did not work (it only poured air but not cold air) and the managers assured us that it did work (and I felt talking to the managers who deep down knew it was broken and passed us) and the room did not go down from 28-29 BC at any time of day and night. Between the noise coming from the street and the suffocating heat of the rooms it was impossible for us to rest so that the next day we could enjoy the excursions along the Almafitana coast as we were exhausted. We gave up the last of the 5 nights we had booked and paid for and left the fourth day losing 163 eur. If you think I exaggerate and book at this hotel you will remember this comment. I don't repeat at the Palazzo Sassi hotel even if I get a gift.

Undoubtedly the best thing about the accommodation are the stunning views and location. We stayed on the top floor, in a room that was directly accessed by the terrace/solarium and the truth is that they were unbeatable. At night on the terrace you can be very nice.
As for the also perfect location, it was less than 15 minutes drive from the center and 5 minutes walk from the beach.
Now, the negative. For the price they ask, the room qualities were more than improveable. Step to relate: 1. The state of the shower regrettable, with the artichoke plugged by lime, tiny to the ridiculous and the hooking of the head loose. The drain stuck, full of hair and smelly. 2. Careless terrace, with dry plants and full of ants (we had to remove them ourselves to make use of the terrace). 3. Very narrow bed for two people and too short (my boyfriend is 6'8" and his feet were coming off). 4. There is a kitchen but no utensils are available to use it. 5. The layout of the room is as close to a game of yellow humor as you can get in your face: steps everywhere, stairs just at the foot of one side of the bed "secured" by a glass railing that doesn't even reach the waist, to start the day with impact 6. Breakfast included mediocre, we have been staying in several places along this trip and this breakfast goes to queue 7. Miscellaneous damage: old and broken bulbs, the air conditioner filter uncleaned, the door was locked when opening... Anyway, little details that take no time to fix (we all fix them in a two-day stay) and really make a difference. 8. The best came on the last day, we wanted to make ourselves an instant ramen with the "teapot" of the room, an entirely undeserved definition for the filthy and lime-filled water heater we found. We had to wash it thoroughly, several times and try our luck. Ultimately, it is a shame because they have the raw material to get spectacular accommodation, but it stays mediocre for lack of attention and work.

Beautiful, bright tasteful hotel with a warm welcome

A beautiful bright, spacious and airy room, high ceilings and decorated with great care, with original modern paintings depicting the local area. The whole place is tastefully adorned with carefully chosen antiques in a modern bright setting. Saveria and her husband Francesco were absolutely lovely and gave us a great welcome! Highly recommend this beautiful hotel
