Worst hotel i stayed in Italy.

We stayed in room 322 from the 5th July up to the 12th July i.e today as i am writing this review.
Check out is at 11 00 am and we got a bit late, we checked out at 11 45 today. The receptionist called and coldly told us to leave the room. That is okay.
However, I expect a bit more understanding, empathy and proper coordination from all the staff of this hotel. I clearly listed many months ago that i would check in at 19 00. During check in, not a hi, not a welcome, not even a smile from the lady and the young boy. They kept talking when we approached them and ignored us completely for 1-2 minutes.
We had to wait almost an hour at 20 00 to get access to our room. It is not obvious after a long train journey.
Once this was done, to our great surprise, the sink in our room was clogged and the lady told us to wait till tomorrow, imagine the audacity. We had to insist and wait till 22 00 (we took dinner in a nearby restaurant) since we did not know if we had to switch rooms or not. The room is in a very bad condition; the photos are AI enhanced. There are things that have been left broken. Also, they do not clean the toilet properly. You also have to call them to set the AC. There are no drinks in the minibar. On our last day, we did not get hot water for the shower. Pictures are being attached. We did not use this hotel as a transit hotel but rather as a hotel to stay in since we booked for 7 days. I expected a better service

Unexplained cancellation

Hotel suddenly cancelled my booking with no explanation for april 2027.
Spent ages researching hotels and this one was a good price in a good location.
Do not reccomend booking or you may end up stranded with no accomodation at last minute.

Disappointed with service

Booked a family room but on arrival we were told that there was an issue with the family room and we had been allocated 2 separate rooms. No contact before we arrived to discuss this. No discussion or apology on arrival. Very disappointed with this. Breakfast was chaos. Only 1 member of staff and he could not refill things quickly enough

Muffa

Location was good. All the staff were nice.
We had two different rooms for the different nights and in both rooms the wall on the other side of the bathroom looked really nasty. There’s water damage from the showers. Showers weren’t not so clean neather.
AC worked in both rooms.

Staff not helpful. We had to cancel our booking a MONTH in advance because of Italian train upkeep that would have delayed our travel. This hotel refused to give us a refund.
