Fantastic Navigli location with a lovely spa and exceptionally helpful staff!

Fantastic location in Navigli, close to restaurants, bars, shopping and public transportation. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and I really enjoyed the spa.
The staff were wonderful and incredibly helpful. I had injured my foot during my trip, and whenever I asked for ice they brought it to my room properly prepared in bags so I could use it easily. The air conditioning in room was great. Refrigerator had some items for sale, but I simply moved them for my own things. Bed and pillows were very comfy! Nice robe!
Breakfast was great. Plenty of options even gluten free and vegan.
I also had a minor issue with the room electricity a couple of times, which they fixed immediately, and they kindly removed some charges from my bill for the inconvenience. I really appreciated the level of service and how well they took care of me.
There is a Carrefour express market steps away.
A tip for car to/from MXP - I pre booked a taxi using the app FreeNow. It was only 110€ from hotel to MXP when i departed. Taxi can drive to the front of the building even though it's a pedestrian and authorized vehicle street I believe.
As a solo female traveler, I felt extremely sate and welcome!

All reception area was under renovation (no pre warning). Nice crew, centrally controlled airco resulted in way to hot rooms. Expensive parking (price should have been reduced due to the renovation). Street parking not recommended (sketchy area)

Fantastic location and super friendly staff, but the hotel itself needs a lot of work.

The rooms are basic and need updating. Everything felt quite grubby - I did not use the towel rack in my bathroom as you could see there was layers of grime which had just been left there for years, and if I walked on the floor barefoot the soles of my feet would be black.
The bed itself was super uncomfortable and the pillows rock hard. The AC is not fit for purpose and it is misleading to say the rooms are provided with them. The rooms were way too hot and mixed with the uncomfortable beds mean I did not sleep well at all during my stay.
Breakfast was good. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and I have no complaints about them, but the rooms need updating and a more thorough cleaning.
Sadly, I was glad to be leaving!

The hotel was under renovation when we visited. It was very much overpriced for what it was. Breakfast was nice with a good range of options.
