Sometimes Plan B is the better plan for your hotel selection!

We had booked the Eolian Milazzo Hotel eternally in advance for our stay in Milazzo. Very shortly before arrival, the hotel informed us that we had been rebooked to Cassisi Hotel due to overbooking. We were a little mad at first. But Cassisi turned out to be a much better choice than Eolian Milazzo Hotel because:
1. it is located a few steps from the ferry terminal to the Aeolian Islands.
2. It is also just a few steps to the Bus Terminal, where buses arrive from Catania Airport.
3. Our room 301 with wonderful little terrace was a real dream
4. The staff was super friendly
5. Breakfast very tasty - even with many savory options (not a given in Italy).
So sometimes in life, Plan B is the better plan. And also the next time we stay in the wonderful Milazzo we will gladly stay again in the beautiful Cassisi Hotel!

Hotel Cassisi, small/large four star hotel!

Honestly, nothing was missing. Everything you need, during a stay in a hotel, Cassisi di Milazzo has it. We were very satisfied. A stone's throw from everything and mainly from the port of the pretty city of Milazzo Excellent value for money. We recommend it.

A pretty good Hotel for a short business trip
Clean, descent breakfast, right at the port close by a number of restaurant and managed by very friendly staff that all appear to be members of the same family.

Poor

Booked superior room was dismayed when we saw it double checked with reception that we had the right category which she said we had. Very small room with no window narrow shower room small terrace with 2 worn looking chairs kettle didn't work and no coffee!!very poor breakfast fresh fruit salad bowl was empty when requested some told none available same with fruit juice jug empty no more available this was at 9.45am!!
Guest toilet on ground floor was through what looked like someone's personal living space a man was lying flat on the sofa asleep with tv on. Far from 4 star more like 1star in short don't go there

Best hotel to stay in Milazzo

We travel frequently between Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands and this hotel is without a doubt the best option in Milazzo. The staff are friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble for these girls whom all speak excellent English. On a recent visit we needed to print some documents for our appointment with local immigration authorities and they very kindly offered to do this for us. The breakfast choice is varied, generous and fresh. We always seem to be fortunate enough to get the same room which has become so familiar to us - it is big, spotlessly clean and has lots of special touches making it feel that management really care about their guests comfort. Recently we needed to stay elsewhere as the Cassisi was full and I was reminded that the warmth, kindness, comfort and location of the Cassisi is a truly unique experience in the heart of Milazzo.
