Wonderful countryside hotel

This place is wonderful.
The site is beautifully laid out, with a gorgeous terrace used for meals, with a great view, and a lovely pool area. Our room was stunning. Nicky and all her staff were lovely and always helpful. And the food was great, and interesting. We also had massages and a yoga session, both of which were great.

Wedding to dream in fairytale hotel high price segment

Very good and luxurious property with very nice staff and super nice rooms. Wonderful pool with beautiful views of the beautiful area.

Nice place, but lack of service.

We were invited to a wedding there. Nice place, but do not let the hotel stand for transport from the airport. 17 people stand for almost 2 hours in an airport, waiting, and with a crazy price. Breakfast was not good enough, and there was a shortage of fresh bread, and diverse.

Absolutely wonderful

Practical stuff first.
We contacted on line and booking was very straightforward.
We had superb help in organising other activities(eg wine tastings and lunches) whilst staying there. Simply put we asked (politely) and we got.
We arrived early but it wasn’t a problem and we were welcomed and ended up having a wonderful, impromptu, light lunch.
Staff can’t do enough to help.
English language ability is really, really good as of course is the native Italian.
Dog friendly.
The property is absolutely beautiful. It’s located in the middle of acres of vineyards, on a hill with wonderful views. Rooms have been wonderfully curated such that you have everything you need but don’t have a bunch of superfluous stuff. They’re equipped with Nespresso type machines and coffee pods are provided. There’s a fridge with free still and sparkling water and other cold drinks on a paid basis. Great quality showers and really good towels and bed linens.
The courtyard, which also serves as the restaurant in summer evenings and for breakfast has lovely views. We spent some really good time just sat having a chat over a drink. The pool area, which is adjacent, is also very good with tasteful seating.
Breakfast is great with efficient and effective service and comprises a buffet (quality rather than quantity) and a range of hot dishes.
Restaurant is superb for dinner. The menu changes daily based on available fresh produce. Allergies and preferences are readily accommodated with notice. The food we had was excellent and very reasonably priced for the quality of the dining experience. A copy of our dinner menu is included in my photos. The wine list is extensive,but covers any budget range, and staff are incredibly helpful in making choices.
I can highly recommend this hotel. My only challenge is working out when I can go again!
