Serious disruption and inadequate management

I booked through Booking.com a suite of about 50 square meters, paying €565 in advance, with very specific needs related to space (three people, luggage for a two-week stay and ongoing pregnancy).
Upon our arrival, we were instead assigned a standard room of about 20 square meters, clearly not in accordance with what was booked.
Despite the immediate report, the property was unable to provide equivalent or superior accommodation, but only inferior and temporary solutions, with no real guarantee of solving the problem.
Faced with this situation, we were forced to independently find another accommodation in the same evening, with inevitable discomfort and additional costs.
What is most perplexing is not only the initial mistake, but above all the subsequent management, which lacks a concrete solution and adequate accountability.
To date, even on the reimbursement front, the structure has not been cooperative.
An episode that highlights an unreliable management of reservations and customer service in critical situations.
It is not the experience you expect from a structure that offers certain types of rooms.

A quality apartment in the district of Chiaia

A highly recommended b&b for a number of reasons: the excellent quality of the rooms (especially the suite) and bathrooms; the courtesy of the staff; the location in the city, in the Chiaia district; the close proximity to buses and the metro.

The room was fine. But the hotel is just a few rooms on the second floor of an apartment complex. There is no clear sign on the hotel. It was hard to find even with Google maps. It's also located right across from a gas station and busy road. The elevator to the second floor is functional but very unattractive and jumpy. The courtyard in which the property is located is dumpy. Also, checking in required elaborate instructions with multiple codes and keys as no one was on staff to greet us. Without data on the phone receiving instructions, we would have been lost.
