Highly recommended for those looking for quality, comfort and a touch of style. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the Up Hotel and the experience was really excellent! The property is modern, clean and well organized. Check-in was simple and well explained, even independently. The room was spacious, quiet and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The staff was always helpful and friendly, ready to assist us at all times. Also great location: convenient for getting around town, but at the same time quiet.
Very useful online marketplace, full of advice on services and activities in the area. An extra attention that we really enjoyed!

Very unsatisfactory

No one available at reception despite a sign giving opening times.
No hot water for two days. Shower head off the wall and once fixed, not working. Wash hand basin with water stopper. Very arrogantly been told if I didn't like it I should have left the day I arrived. If I did that I would have lost my money.
Breakfast not onsite, few hundred meters away in a local bar.

Would not return

I never write a negative review, but unfortunately I can not find many positive aspects. The few are: communication via practical wp, with all the instructions on how to get to the room counting that the reception is not always active; clean rooms and kind contact person, convenient location because near the Garibaldi metro station. The rest I can not call positive: the hotel is only on one floor of a poorly maintained building; there was no provision when booking that breakfast would be that. The wording “breakfast included” on booking certainly does not suggest a dish with: 1 jam, 1 nutellina, 1 single-serving biscuit, 1 packed snack, 1 herbal tea and 1 single-serving freeze-dried coffee. There was a kettle but no water. No milk, no choice of no food (if one of us had been celiac? In all hotels there are replacements). We thought that what we found in the room was a welcome kit (as we were offered in a hotel in Sardinia, for example). The next day, in fact, we searched in vain for the breakfast room; I sent a message and was called back (it was early Sunday morning so appreciated service). I was told that the 6 euro option chosen included what was found in the room. I did not want to make controversy but the customer should be informed well; nowhere was written in what is scheduled breakfast. Since there are several bars nearby it would have been more appreciable to have a ticket in one of these places to consume for a drink and a sweet/savory instead of what you had. Also counting the fact that it would be more environmentally friendly without the plastic of snacks, cookies, freeze-dried coffee.

Bad experience

I'm sorry, this is the first time I've had such a bad review, but the experience was bad. I state that in the hotel I did not set foot practically, limiting myself to the reception, so I can not say anything about the rooms. Already the reception is perplexing: to call it minimal is an understatement, just a banquet and four chairs in what looks like a former store, with the door that does not open from the outside, it is always necessary for the receptionist to intervene... The problem is that my wife and I are lovers of breakfast, which for us is the most important meal of the day. Precisely for this reason at the time of booking we always check that a rich 'continental breakfast' is guaranteed, and this was well specified on the site. Upon arrival we are told that unfortunately the breakfast room is being renovated and that for breakfast will be served in the room freeze-dried coffee with some biscuits, a jam and a Nutella (Sic!). Even of the much vaunted and rich breakfast in the room, offered on the site as an alternative to continental breakfast, no trace. At our logical representations the receptionist (I did not understand if he was the owner or not...) tried to make us look like fools, saying that on breakfasts we had made everything up and that on the site there was nothing of what we demanded. Too bad that, as usual, we bring with us a nice printout of the pages of the site, which we promptly exhibited. Here began a discussion that led us to cancel the reservation and choose a nearby hotel, which fortunately had rooms available. I must say that the manager has always kept the discussion on a very civilized level and has somehow 'facilitated' the cancellation of the booking, without making a fuss. I would like to point this out in fairness. Otherwise, bad experience.

A rip-off

It's not a hotel, it's a bad b b that not even the navigator can find, it's not true that there is parking, you have to leave the car in the street, the room is mediocre, breakfast is a snack and four bags of freeze dried, and it also costs a lot for what it is, a disaster, plus the reception does not answer if you arrive late and you do not find them you are screwed
