A perfect wedding anniversary.
Beautiful experience. An excellent B&B in every way, we will definitely recommend it to our friends. We only slept one night, but everything was perfect: from the welcome to the excellent breakfast to the perfect mattress. Thank you very much. Fortunato and Antonella.

A magical view, a family atmosphere.
We stayed in this B&B unfortunately only one night, but the welcome, friendliness and excellent food have left a mark that we will not forget.
The rooms are large and bright, the structure clean and equipped with small welcome amenities (welcome kit, even needle and cotton). We had a panoramic room and the cot for our baby was wooden, comfortable and not spartan. The hearty and tasty breakfast is nothing compared to the unexpectedly delicious dinner. Sonia offers a home restaurant formula so you have to warn and choose what to eat first, but it's a unique experience, which I recommend for the quality of the food, cooked like at home at a really unique price.

Great Views, helpful hosts and good food.
My wife and I stayed at Le Fate del Lago earlier this month. My wife had chosen Norma as the base for our visit to Ninfa, which the town overlooks. Not realising that the garden was several kilometers down an (exciting) switchback road our tour had been booked for first thing in the morning, before the first bus and with no local taxi available. Realising our problem our hosts offered to drive us to the garden, a gesture that saved the day and proved to be typical of the commitment to service that we experienced during our stay.
Our room was clean and comfortable with a good bed, spacious (by Italian standards) bathroom and breathtaking views. Access was through the restaurant which is part of the establishment. There was some noise from the restaurant at night but it didn't interfere with our sleep at all.
Breakfasts were included, typically Italian and good. On realising that I was diabetic, our hosts modified the contents to suit without any request from me.
We dined at the restaurant on a few occasions, it would have been more but for the fact that it was sufficiently popular to require a reservation. The food was very good and the obvious reason for its popularity.
Overall a great place to stay in a delightful small town with a history dating to several hundred years BC and a surprising amount to see and do. Ninfa, the reason for our visit, was everything we had hoped for and more.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Le Fate del Lago as a great place to stay and to eat.

Everything you need but don't always get!
Spotlessly clean, our large room was also comfortable and with a view to die for. Our window looked across the Palatine Plain to the ocean and the offshore islands miles away. The bathroom boasted the same view and was equipped with loo, bidet and shower. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, always going the 'extra mile '. In fact, they supplied transport for us to go to 'Ninfa' as it was difficult to find transport on a Sunday. The room was above the trattoria, a great place to eat but book as it is small and busy. Service, value and sleep quality all rate five, although the system won't allow it for some reason!

lovely place
we spent one night at this place to visit the Garden of Ninfa ... Valentino who runs the place and the cook of the Locanda downstairs is very helpful and accomodating... we had fun staying here and hope to come back soon ... Cheers and Goodluck
