…GOOD CHOICE IN OTRANTO!!…☕️‼️

…on the occasion of my journey on the "Cammino del Salento"!!…I spent two nights!!…in this structure that is truly in a strategic position!!…right near the historic center!!…so just a few steps from the main attractions!!…the Aragonese Castle!!…the Cathedral!!…and the waterfront!!…it’s Hotel Albània!!…therefore I am in Otranto!!…the easternmost municipality in Italy!!…overlooking the Adriatic Sea!!…my room was welcoming!!…bright and clean!!…and from my window!!…I could even see the sea!!…I had a bed and breakfast arrangement!!…so sleeping and breakfast included!!…the breakfast is served on the top floor of the hotel!!…it is also possible to sit outside!!…thanks to the beautiful panoramic terrace!!…which offers a spectacular view of the bay of Otranto!!…it is said that on clear days you can even see Albania from here!!…in fact, it is just a few kilometers away!!…but back to breakfast!!…ample buffet!!…with a wide assortment of sweet and savory items!!…but the priceless thing!!…that you will find is the warm welcome with a smile!!…and courtesy from Samira!!…who is in charge of breakfast!!…what can I say!!…definitely a good choice!!…and I would even give it an extra star!!…it’s Hotel Albània!!…in Otranto!!…☕️️️⬆️ ‼️

All was good. Rooms had own thermostats !
Except
1. parking location was close but there was confusion about payment. Hotel said it was manned but no one was at the booth that had a sign stating 5euros , but on another sign 5 day and 5 night. But since no one was there you had to use the machine which only gave me 5 hr for 10 euros , in coins only
Back at Hotel front desk said 5 E per day only and since we were staying 2 days the 10 e was fine
But if there is not an attendant upon depsrture one does not have to pay!?
At breakfast , all hot drinks relied on a server at the coffee machine so it was slow.
The breakfast room was large and airy with an outside area, good for hot weather which we did not have.

Beds need updating

A clean well located hotel with breakfast that's adequate. What let's it down is the bed is hard and join in middle makes it very uncomfortable. The bed only had 2 uncomfortable pillows also. We had a poor sleep. A topper pad would solve this issue with 2 more quality pillows.
No jug and cups jn the room so can't even make a drink.

Pleasant and unforgettable experience

I stayed for a week and I think it is appropriate to witness the positive aspects of this ,hotel. The room was very cozy, large, well lit and airy with window and balcony.
The hotel was built several years ago in April and has been completely renovated.
As for the staff the first contact with Mrs. Enza was positive because she gave us a lot of information about the operation of the hotel and everything in the surroundings.
As for the rest of the staff Mr. Giuseppe, Paola, Semira made us feel welcomed by old friends, always kind, exhaustive and helpful, in short, they made eight days of vacation pleasant and unforgettable

Highly recommended! Strategic location, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast overlooking the sea.
