I can only give a ten with honors because more is not possible…
I can only give a ten with honors, but I would gladly give more, because I believe it is impossible to do better than this. The farmhouse is stunning, meticulously maintained, and charming, very pet-friendly, with super clean rooms decorated with great taste, a beautiful pool, and there is also a spa that we did not try due to lack of time. The restaurant is excellent, with a breathtaking view. The breakfast is superb, with an extensive selection of both sweet and savory options. The location is very convenient, just a few minutes by car from Otranto, and with a pleasant twenty-minute walk, you can reach the bauxite quarry (a must-see!). But as Barbieri would say, "the staff alone is worth the trip." We were welcomed by a cheerful and very kind girl, whom we found again the next morning at breakfast with her very friendly and welcoming colleague. But everyone, from the waiters to the owner, is wonderful: they made us feel at home right away and left us wanting to return as soon as possible for a longer stay. If you are in the Otranto area, choose this farmhouse with your eyes closed: it is perfect!!!

Perfect base to explore the South of Puglia
The reception and restaurant staff are absolutely wonderful.
Welcoming, smiling, available... they do their best to satisfy every request.
The hotel is clean, quiet, and relaxing.
The dining is excellent... breakfast is provided with fresh products... The dinner offers a menu with excellent value for money. The à la carte menu selection is varied and also of very good quality, at a reasonable price, at a bistronomic level.
We recommend this accommodation 100% and will return.

So many things about this property are wonderful. The staff at the restaurant and pool are fantastic. The grounds are lovely. The pool is amazing.
Breakfast is weird, small selection, same every day, and nothing was the right temperature (meat, fruit, etc all warm like it sat out, scrambled eggs always empty or alternatively cold)
The rooms are lovely and characteristic of a masseria. Unfortunately, they are incredibly warm and humid — they do have air conditioners but they are insufficient for the spaces. We were warm, muggy, sweaty, the whole time. I would dread staying there at the height of summer. Shower water pressure was nonexistent, and temperature was very inconsistent — sometimes very cold, then instantly hot, then cold again.
Where the stay fell apart for us: the hotel would not honor our expedia vil €30 spa credit, and tried every excuse under the sun as to why it didn’t apply. They also charge 2 euro per water in the hotel room fridge. Supposedly the price is located in a booklet that includes all of the other advertisements for the masseria (restaurant, spa services, etc) but the mini fridge is otherwise empty. It is the only hotel in italy we stayed in where an empty mini fridge with only water in it charged for the water.
The charge would have been fine if it was clearly posted, and if they hadn’t refused to honor the expedia booking credit.
The shuttle to otranto never ran, and cabs are 25 euro each way. They suggested i drunk drive to dinner elsewher…

Masseria Bandino is dreamily beautiful.
We spent wonderfully beautiful days at Masseria Bandino. The entire facility is super beautiful. The atmosphere of the house is very unique and pleasant.
The rooms are tastefully furnished and very clean. The pool and garden are an oasis of tranquility. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The restaurant is excellent. The location of Masseria Bandino is very convenient near Otranto, which is definitely worth seeing.
All the staff at the Masseria are very friendly, providing tips for planned excursions, for which we are grateful.
We would gladly return.
