We simply felt like family.
The place is enchanting, and the structure is truly beautiful: we had an unfortunate incident with my wife, who fell during a walk and ended up in a cast.
Germana and her entire family, as well as all the staff, went out of their way to make the remaining days of our stay comfortable and light: we truly felt like family.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the lovely candlelit dinners in a truly charming atmosphere.
For anyone coming to Otranto, I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE DEFINITELY AVOID
WARNING: Avoid this hotel they are extremely unprofessional and disorganised. We had a booking with the hotel in July 2026 which we had fully prepaid in November 2025 . They recently canceled our booking which is in 4 weeks with no explanation or warning. They have tried to tell us we cancelled, which we 100% did not , we have asked for them to show us the cancellation request and of course they cannot. We reached out to them immediately as soon as we received the cxl email and over the last 5 days to try to find out what was going on but the hotel refused to speak to us about the situation and referred us to their private reservations company that does their reservations . They seem totally uncaring, disorganised and seems in complete chaos, they kept telling us just wait 24 hours for 5 days now. They promised to book us into a like accommodation in same area but have not done this and now not responding to our calls / messages. Obviously most accommodation is completely booked out in the middle of July . It has been extremely stressful situation as happed the day before we flew out, we are very disappointed with both the hotel and their out sourced reservation team , They held our funds for 7 months in their own bank account prior to the cancellation and yet still did not help or assist or take responsibility . We travel often and have never had such a bad experience with a hotel . We would not want this to happen to others so felt we had to share our awful experience and suggest you definitely avoid this Masseria and look elsewhere and book other accommodation in the area .

Madam, we've already responded to you on Google. Please remember that reviews are written after a stay, not out of spite for someone who didn't stay. However, we remind you that, prior to your behavior, we were working hard to find you an alternative of equal or higher quality... at this point, the best thing would be for you to proceed independently. All this despite the fact that you booked with Expedia and not with us directly, that the cancellation was initiated by Expedia, and that we were not responsible. So what do you have to complain about?

Wonderful, rustic chic Puglian Masseria with excellent dining option.
We stayed here for 3 nights in the Monaci suite around the beginning of September. The Masseria is beautiful, immaculately clean with a calm and serene atmosphere. All of the staff were friendly and courteous from the pool/waiters to the breakfast lady.
The location is perfect for exploring Salento. A 5 minute easy drive to Otranto and and close to a beautiful coastal road with beaches and views.
Our room was spacious and comfortable with a small plunge pool, mini bar with complimentary water, drinks and prosecco plus a tray of fresh fruits and Puglian sweet treats. Robes and slippers were provided with plenty of fresh towels. Housekeeping was thorough. Wifi excellent.
The breakfast gave us the chance to experience typical Puglian delights. Fresh sweet pastries and cakes, the most delicious ricotta as well as a selection of fresh fruit, cheeses, meats and eggs. The coffee was perfect. Fresh yoghourt offered daily. We highly recommend the small fresh doughnuts filled with creme patisserie and the super fresh focaccia.
We had dinner on our first night which was so good that we decided to dine in again on our third evening having eaten in Otranto on the second. The food really was some of the best we experienced throughout our 10 day tour of Puglia and felt local and authentic rather than international. We are still dreaming of the pasta with fish ragu! The evening dining experience is atmospheric with pretty lighting and rustic chic decoration in an outdoor setting.
Germana, the owner, works hard to give her guests the best experience. Small details such as having a dedicated area to hang wet bathing attire prevents the hanging of items outside rooms which would really spoil the the whole ambience. She oversees everything with great detail and is always on hand to give advice for day trips etc.
We enjoyed a wonderful 3 nights here and wouldnt hesitate to book again.
