What a great experience!!!

Pleasant experience at the hotel "il ghiro" in the picturesque town of Ovindoli, another pleasant novelty. In the hotel you breathe family air, all very kind and generous, the management is familiar.
A special applause to Maria and Jlenia always ready to grant any little wish.
We preferred the half board service: very genuine cuisine, great breakfast with homemade cakes and gluten free. Homemade bread. A sore note, but perhaps due to the particular seasonal period: the lack of fruit.
We recommend that you accept our suggestion to always include it, even at breakfast, or, at best, at dinner, replace it with a slice of dessert until mealtime. We would like to suggest why we would be happy if the management, which has just begun, goes better and better.
Well heated rooms, not too large but more than enough fully for our needs.
Beautiful landscapes around Ovindoli, which boasts a village and wonderful old town. A note of praise to Celano, a charming, historic and very pretty town, with a beautiful Castle and churches of 1300 about ten km from Ovindoli.

Weekend on the road

Beautiful weekend in Ovindoli spent in this hotel located in a strategic position, run by very welcoming and kind people and where you eat really bene.Le rooms are large, comfortable and given the period, even very warm.... if you happen to come here, keep it in mind..... congratulations and thanks

Il Ghir-Ohhh Yes!!

We visited Il Ghiro, Ovindoli in July/August 2024 and were absolutely blown away.
Located a short walk from Ovindoli’s Piaza, Il Ghiro is perfectly situated for those wanting a quiet break.
The scenery is breathtaking, the food, impeccable, the service, sensational, and the staff could not have been more accommodating.
The people of Ovindoli were so friendly and welcoming. In particular, Fabio & Maria Cristina of Bar Rantucci, an absolutely beautiful, family-run cafe, serving drinks & snacks to go, or sit-in, with a stunning view of the Piaza.
We have already made plans to return to Ovindoli and to stay at Il Ghiro.
