A Welcome Home to Never Forget

Traveled to many places in my life. I even have an annual spot in northern Italy that I never thought could be matched. Not only is this place a gem to stay at, but the owner Mimo and his wife made this experience very memorable. I live in Italy, I know Italian breakfast very well, we live crazy close to two very good bars (cafes) with fresh Italian pastries but Mimo was next level. Everything was warm as if he made it himself, and the coffee was superb! Mimo was a wealth of knowledge about the town and the surrounding area. Every restaurant that he recommended was on the spot, but then our last night Mimo cooked for us. Traditional Pugliese food, and what a spread, I couldn’t believe all the food, all made by Mimo and his wife ( he used to own a restaurant that specialized in Pugliese food). If you stacked up all the food from every restaurant that we went to, it wouldn’t even come close to what Mimo made us. Mimo… thank you for everything! You made my second trip to my family’s original home town so memorable for me and my family. I can’t recommend this place any higher, if you come to Bari and you don’t stay with Mimo, you are short changing yourself. Again, to be very clear, I have been living in Italy for 13 years and traveled up and down the boot, in Puglia this is the place to stay, hands down!

Travelling back in time

We have been travelling all around Italy.... but by far this has been one of the most incredible and unexpected places to stay in!!!
this bed and breakfast actually is like living back in Italy from the 200 years ago
very well done!
very nice decorated and incredible clean and well preserved
The hostess wait for us till late bcs we were kind of lost... and he was very friendly
all the room is amazingly decorated
And make you feel like travelling back in time!
Can wait to come back!!

Excellent place

Mimmo’s place is very nice, rooms are huge and cleaned. Easy to reach.
Mimmo is very friendly and helpful, he is always available, he helped us with parking the car in a secure place so we didn’t have to worry during the night
He recommended few places where we could eat and they where all nice and a reasonable price
Breakfast is also very nice
I really recommend this place

Very nice and a warm welcome

Me and my girlfriend stayed one night here. We couldnt be happier and Mimmo,
made us a nice welcome and a very good breakfast. The rooms are very clean and the location is just less than 15 min drive to Bari center

B&B to remember!

Palo Del Colle is a quaint little town close to city of Bari Italy in region of Puglia.
The B&B is very unique full of history, charm, and ambiance. It overlooks the town main Piazza and is very clean and spacious. The owner (Mimo) was very helpful in providing suggestions for local attractions and restaurants.
This is the place If you are looking for a memorable experience.
