An unforgettable dream

In July we had the pleasure of spending a weekend as a couple at this resort and it was a dream experience.
Everything was perfect: the property is beautiful, cared for in every detail, very clean, and in an enviable location. You wake up and it feels like you are in a postcard.
But what really made our stay special was the staff.
An extraordinary welcome and kindness. You can tell they work with heart and with great attention to the customer.
A huge and special thank you goes to Giuseppe, the manager, for his professionalism, his availability, and for making us feel pampered from the first to the last minute.
And a special thank you also to Erica from the restaurant, cheerful, attentive, and very kind. With her, every breakfast and dinner became an unforgettable moment.
We will be back soon. Thank you for letting us experience a perfect weekend ❤️

Too many critical issues in a beautiful facility

The Kirani is a beautiful resort a short distance from the airport, with convenient free parking and characteristic dammusi immersed among olive trees, lavender, and caper plants, each named after a wind. The accommodations are spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with a patio, air conditioning, safe, coffee machine, kettle, and a spacious bed. However, the shower is a bit narrow and there is no possibility to request alternative pillows to those provided, which I found decidedly too high and hard. Among the strong points are the logistics services—such as 125cc scooter rental at 40 euros per day and the airport shuttle at 10 euros per person—and well-functioning free Wi-Fi. The gastronomic offering is very good, from breakfast to light lunch to dinner, the latter served by a truly exquisite and attentive male dining room staff. A round of applause also goes to the impeccable cleanliness of the bathroom and the courtesy of the staff. From the property, moreover, one can enjoy a simply breathtaking sunset.
Unfortunately, there is no shortage of critical issues for a resort of this level. The reception is almost always deserted and the front-office agent Noemi often proved to be arrogant and impolite, an attitude also shared by the female breakfast staff, who were unprofessional, semi-absent, and dismissive. In the area with the two splendid pools, the bar remains closed, there is no lifeguard assistance, and, even more seriously, there are no umbrellas at all. To take shelter from the heat, there is only a small olive tree, fought over by everyone, and two Berber tents (one per pool), under which people crowd together in a real heat trap. Although management will justify the choice with the presence of the wind, other properties on the island manage to guarantee adequate shaded areas without making their guests suffer in the scorching sun.
Significant shortcomings are also found in the management of the property: deep cleaning and linen changes only take place every three days (a daily change entails a supplement of 15 euros per day) and beach towels are provided only based on laundry availability. The dinner menu is limited and varies little; there is no porter service, which forces guests to drag their suitcases by themselves to the dammusi, even the furthest ones; unruly children are never reprimanded to respect public quiet, and the absence of a guard or a visible manager often gives the impression that the resort is left to fend for itself, beyond a phone number active only for emergencies. I am pointing out these aspects with a constructive spirit, since from a resort of this target and price range, one would expect much more attention to the customer. A real shame: I am leaving this vacation a bit disappointed and, for a possible future stay in Pantelleria, I would certainly direct my choice elsewhere.

Wonderful place, spacious, comfortable, and very clean dammuso. Kind and helpful staff.

Do not miss an aperitif at sunset by the pool. The restaurant is good with fair and accessible prices, as is the bar.

Comfort and Relaxation in Pantelleria

My husband and I spent a very pleasant week at the Kirani: the resort is recently built and enjoys a spectacular location for watching the sunset and, on the clearest evenings, even catching a glimpse of the Tunisian coast!
Our dammuso was spacious and comfortable, but above all immersed in great peace. The two pools available are convenient, always accessible during the day and for a refreshing swim before or after dinner.
The car/scooter rental service directly at the resort reception is very convenient.
Availability and courtesy from all the staff at the property: personally, we really appreciated the possibility of having a light lunch and the restaurant service for dinner (very convenient when returning tired from a day at the sea or touring the island) as well as the organization of a couple of themed evenings under the evocative Berber tents.
Recommended!!!

A hotel where one wants to stay

Since my first description of this facility, I have spent many short vacations at Hotel Kirani. My first positive impression of this beautiful facility with very friendly staff has been confirmed with each stay.

A beautiful hotel that just opened in 2023. The Dammusi are designed so that one can enjoy the beautiful terrace in peace. Two pools for the small facility, another plus point. The apartments are well-maintained and spacious. There are plenty of pictures of the facility online. The half-board is varied and the cuisine is excellent. The sunsets are unbeatable. The island is romantic and can be easily explored due to the low traffic. The staff at Hotel Kirani are always helpful, whether for airport pickups or for planning your own vacation. For these reasons, I will vacation there even more often!!
