The perfect hotel for a beach holiday
Fantastic 10 days.
From Check-in until the Check- Out, It was a wonderful time.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The room service was excellent, and the shuttle service to the beach and town was always punctual and flexible to our needs. The restaurant served very delicious food alongside a fantastic wine selection—and the pool bar was just as great. On top of that, the staff was consistently polite, helpful, and accommodating. As well the roomservice .

Amazing holiday again
We stayed at Hotel Tirreno for 2 weeks in June - our 3rd visit and we will be back. It has all the ingredient you could wish for an amazing holiday (for us anyway). Fantastic location, beautiful pool, and gardens, good food, lovely beach with dedicated sun beds, shuttle to Tropea on an evening which must be experienced, exceptionally clean rooms - I could go on and go and Stefanio and her team do a brilliant job making sure everything is perfect for your stay. The new build is now complete and is beautiful, modern and chic with a new breakfast terrace. We spoke with other guest who were staying in the new rooms and said they were delightful and big. We have returned home and every time we talk about our holiday it brings a smile to our faces and cannot wait to return. Thank you everyone for everything you do.

Marvellous Hotel Tirreno
We came here in May 2025 and loved it so much that we returned this year. Hotel Tirreno is a lovely traditional Italian hotel. We stayed in a room with a large balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel is kept immaculately and run very efficiently. The reception staff speak good English and were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is traditional Italian and after breakfast each morning we enjoyed looking at that evening's menu and choosing what we would like to eat. Very helpfully you can order half portions or even ask for more if you wish. The food was delicious! The pool outside is beautiful and a good size with plenty of loungers complete with their own sunshades and there is also a bar offering snacks and drinks. The view from here, across to Tropea and Stromboli is stunning. There is a minibus service running to the beach or you can walk there in 10 minutes (a bit longer on the way back as it's uphill). The hotel has its own area of beach with lounges and lifeguard.

Experience to be repeated
We spent a vacation of about ten days at this excellent hotel. It is located in Parghelia in a beautiful position from which you can see the sea, the island of Stromboli and the town of Tropea. Parghelia is a small, quiet, welcoming town with all the essential services. The Hotel Tirreno is well-maintained: the structure is comfortable, always clean, the garden is lush and rich in many varieties of plants, the pool, well-kept, is always quiet, the restaurant is excellent. The staff is always helpful, kind and prepared. The shuttle service to reach and return from Tropea and the beach is very convenient, which are also reachable on foot for those who want to walk a little. Vito, the lifeguard on the beach, is friendly and always helpful. Giuseppe is smiling and very nice in the morning during the excellent buffet breakfast.

Hotel Tirreno
This hotel felt like a five star resort. The room was huge and very clean. The pool and private beach are absolutely beautiful. It was so helpful to have the shuttle to/from the beach and to/from downtown Tropea. The shuttle even dropped us off at the train station on the day we left. The staff was very nice, especially one gentleman who helped at breakfast and the poolside bar!
