Quality restaurant
I had dinner with some friends at Il Tiro restaurant and the experience was really memorable. The restaurant is beautiful, with an elegant atmosphere and attention to detail, ideal for a special evening. The menu is refined, with dishes that denote a very high quality both in ingredients and presentation.
Although the prices are slightly high, they are absolutely justified by the excellence of the food and the impeccable service. The wine list is extensive and well selected, with perfect options to accompany every course.

Lovely evening
Lovely location, beautiful tables all decorated with mosaic, with impeccable taste immersed in the countryside, beautiful place. We found very kind and professional staff and a refined cuisine is cured in the flavors of Umbria.

Fantastic venue, great hospitality
Agriturismo Il Tiro is located on a stunning venue in Umbria. Besides the fact that we stayed during the high season, we always had the feeling like in a cosy B&B. The place is not crowded and therefore we had the facilities often for our own.
The hotel and accompanying restaurant are run by extremely friendly and hospitable people. It is an authentic Italian family which gives multiple tips to visit beautiful spots nearby.
The restaurant itself is absolutely worth a visit. Among others, they serve delicious meat and there is a wide selection of great regional wines.
Minor drawbacks are the following: Wifi is not working well, quite basic breakfast and finally the Italian family does not speak English (the same applies to the rest of the Italian people on the countryside :-) ). Nevertheless, this is more than compensated by their hospitality. Thank you for the great memories!

Most amazing place
This place was really all we could have wished for. Quiet, the view was wow, simple and authentic.
The family who runs it happens to be the kindest people, always helpful and warm. We used a lot of Google translate, since we don't speak Italian and they don't speak English we had a lot of fun with translating and learning from each other. We always got all and more help than we needed, despite the langauge barriers.
We had the place basically for our self during the day and then in the night it was turned to this great and very popular Italian restaurant with great pasta dishes, meat and wine - and holy moly a whole wine cellar of treasures! Before dinner we had an aperitif at the pool,organized by the two charming and sweet teenagers, children of the owners. At the pool you could enjoy the sunset over the Umbrian countryside. The place is close to the bigger cities of Umbria but the place itself takes the breath away and you just want to stay there and enjoy, at least that is what we did.
If you are in to wine, there is quite a lot of small wineries nearby to visit.
The room is clean and big. There is a fridge in the hall you can use for fruits and water etc.
The breakfast by the way was a really good start to the day, simple but with nice jam, bread and hot orange croissant!! The coffee made was tasty and you didn't get to leave the breakfast table before you had at least 2-3 cups of coffee and a chat.
We can only say one thing. We will without doubt recommend this to everyone and come back ourselves year after year after year.

Relaxing with a view
We spend 3 nights at Il Tiro during our 10 days in Umbria. The place is quiet in the countryside yet very close to Perugia and a 30 minutes drive to Trasimen Lake.
Would recommend if you want to relax around the swimming pool and have dinner with a view.
Nice music during breakfast and dinner, our hosts know how to create a nice atmosphere.
Downside : restaurant can be a bit noisy if your room is on that side and you want to turn in early.
