Wonderful stay

Very late in posting this but in May 2013 on a driving holiday we had a most wonderful one night stay here. It is remote but not hard to find. The language barrier did not stop us feeling so welcome. The ambience was wonderful and so relaxing. Nothing was too much effort

Sorry for the guys who are nice and helpful people, but the room with such a hard bed (it looked like a marble board) the loud noises for the neighboring rooms, the doors that have to be slammed to ask for them. The toilet moving, etc... They don't allow me to give a good review to this b&b

Charming Italian Stay

This resort was exactly what we wanted. Rustic charm in a good atmosphere. The hosts were warm and informative. We stayed for 2 nights in the downstairs room which was decorated in luxurious gold and reds. The room has its own private access. Breakfast on both mornings were served in our rooms with lovely cakes, yoghurts, juice and coffees. The location is tucked away with a small sign but we had good sat nav and our own car so not too much of a problem. The price is very good and offers you a realistic expectation of what you are getting. Free parking on sight and a very quiet stay to relax. We also encountered an adorable kitten in our stay in which we were told we could keep (was tempted lol). This accommodation would not suit those without car. Also the area does not meet the needs of walking tourist as the main town is approx 6 miles away. This did not cause us any problems but could see issues with those without a car.

a little gem

my husband and I stayed at this beautiful b and b overnight in july. it is quite difficult to find, just a small sign pointing up a lane but well worth the trouble. we had a lovely room under the main house, which is set in wonderful gardens.
we were given pizzas for our evening meal while we sat outside in the sun. the room was clean comfortable and utterly charming with a sitting room and bathroom.
breakfast next morning was a delicious mix of homemade pastries fruit juice tea coffee and yoghurt, again while sitting in the sun. the owner was cheerful polite and friendly. we also bought two very nice bottles of rose wine to take with us, having sampled some the night before!
it is set in a quiet, remote area but ideal for a night or two

Good for couples and families with children

It is a private house which we regularly use. The place is ideal for families with children. There is garden, cats, a small pool with tortoises and a bigger swimming pool which is surrounded by a fence. The owner is kind and helpful.
