If not arriving by car can be difficult to get a taxi from the railway station!!

A ture jewel on the Lake Iseo !

We have been travelling for the last 50 years, mostly in Europe and especially in Italy. The Relais I Due Roccoli where we recently spent 5 nights was a most memorable experience. Without even referring to its geographical attributes, such as a 180-degree panoramic view of the Lake Iseo from our terrace, it offered us a surprise after a surprise: a beautiful room, a choice of charming dining and/or breakfast rooms tastefully arranged and haute-cuisine served with heart. But the best was the people. Either at the front desk or a dining room, we received highly professional treatments filled with personal attention.

What do you want to say to them? It is magnificent.

It is a very beautiful place.
The terrace where breakfast is served has a spectacular view of the lake, it is surrounded by greenery, the rooms are kept in perfect condition, and the staff is uniquely kind and elegant.
Of course it costs, but it is worth it.
Perhaps the breakfast cakes did not thrill me, but that is just my personal taste.
It is a place that makes you feel good.

A wonderful unexpected experience "da non perdere"

This was a great experience, all in all. I Due Roccioli is way up in the hills above the town of Iseo. Both a hotel and Restaurant. I just stumbled across it "per caso" when trying to find a place for the night with some food. We reserved a room with a view down the lake, and it was to die for. Incredible new, and the private outdoor terrace was bigger than the whole room.
The indoor restaurant is fine-dining. In fact they have several different restaurants there, several of which were occupied by a wedding party. The inside dining room was quite fancy and served delicious food with attentive service. When in Iseo...order
Shrimp and whitefish dishes, which were terrific. Wine: a Valtellina Superiore Nebbiolo. All very good (if a bit pricey.) Because of the wedding reception being held there, we didn’t have the benefit of their main dining room with a lake view (but we did see it the next morning for breakfast, and we had the primo hotel room anyway). If Lago D'Iseo figures in your travel plans, I'd suggest looking this place up. I'd definitely stay there again.

The Relais i due Roccoli was quite difficult to find, but thanks to Navi and a few signposts I still find it. The reception at reception is very warm and super helpful. I am escorted to the terrace where I treat myself to a beer. The Aussict is overwhelming. The facility is extensive and not quite as easy to see through. Room number 9 is a bijoux with many beautiful pictures on the wall and a wonderful hand-painted ceiling. Especially the furniture of the terrace was exceptional. I've seen something like this.
