Quiet and affordable
Very friendly lady at the reception who even unlocked the restroom for us for the night

Pleasant experience but tasting to improve
The only negative note concerns the tasting: I had booked a €25 experience for three people that, according to the website, should have included a walk through the vineyards, a visit to the cellar and a tasting of 5 wines with explanation. In fact, our experience consisted of sitting for about two hours at a table, tasting the wines with a rather brief explanation.
When we asked about the winery visit, we were hastily and unkindly told that the winery had been sold and that it was no longer possible to make the tour. This in itself is not a problem, but we expected a different experience, in line with what is described on the site.
In addition, the service during the tasting was quite quick, without leaving much room to ask questions or deepen the wines proposed.

Ci dispiace invece leggere che la degustazione non abbia rispecchiato appieno le sue aspettative. Negli anni abbiamo sempre ricevuto riscontri molto positivi su questa esperienza, motivo per cui prendiamo seriamente il suo feedback. Purtroppo al momento del suo soggiorno la cantina non era più visitabile a causa di un recente cambiamento organizzativo, situazione che potrebbe non essere stata comunicata in maniera sufficientemente chiara. Per quanto riguarda la sua percezione di poca disponibilità durante la spiegazione, ci teniamo a precisare che il nostro staff cerca sempre di dedicare attenzione e cortesia a tutti gli ospiti, anche nei momenti di maggiore attività o afflusso. Ci dispiace se in quella circostanza il servizio le è sembrato frettoloso: non è lo standard che desideriamo offrire. Traiamo spunto dal suo commento per migliorare negli aspetti da lei messi in luce. Speriamo di poterla accogliere nuovamente in futuro per offrirle un'esperienza pienamente in linea con le sue aspettative.

Factory!
Rarely had such an impersonal holiday stay.
Az. Agr. Fossa Mala is in fact a big factory: hotel, restaurant, pizzeria, wine shop, banquet hall, conference rooms, Fossa Mala has it all and that should pay off!
Unfortunately, the hotel is only an additional activity and you notice that as a hotel guest.
Almost every night noisy parties with DJ and exciting loud music, even until midnight, unwanted visitors in the garden of the studios, trucks driving on and off with equipment, cars looking for parking (although clear ban on cars), deliveries in the morning by trucks that continue behind the garden, etc.
It's hard to get to rest here.
We have experienced the lack of Service first-hand.
Upon our arrival there appeared to be several wasp nests on our terrace, even under the chairs.
My wife was sitting on a patio chair for less than half a minute and was already stung by a wasp.
We immediately started reporting this, whereupon the receptionist (who is actually mainly working on the wine shop) and the owner were on the spot, just to exchange the chairs with those from another terrace, to which...
... just as wasp nests hung.
The handyman would solve it the next day.
Then go get aerosols myself to kill the pests.
No one asked after that how the wasp sting was, if we still had problems with wasps, nothing.
Nobody ever asked what we were going to do or had done, nobody ever suggested a place of interest or a town nearby, nothing.
In general, the coldness, even unfriendliness - also in the pizzeria and restaurant - was also noticeable here outside the (co-)owner and the lovely lady at breakfast.
There were even employees who just didn't say hello.
Breakfast was mediocre, evening often looking for parking (incomprehensible that no parking spaces are reserved for hotel guests!!!), the few charging stations for electric cars mostly did not work,...
After 6 nights we were actually relieved that we could leave.
Conclusion: very nice accommodation, but for Peace and Welcoming you should find another stay.

Het hotel bevindt zich in een complex met verschillende bedrijven, waaronder restaurants. Zoals u zich kunt voorstellen, vinden er in de zomermaanden vaak bruiloften, doopfeesten en andere ceremonies plaats waarbij alle kamers betrokken zijn, waardoor het onmogelijk is om te allen tijde religieuze stilte te garanderen.
De parkeergelegenheid op het terrein wordt gebruikt door zowel hotelgasten als medewerkers van het restaurant, de pizzeria en de kantoren. Deze kan dus vol zijn, maar er is altijd plek.
Het spijt ons dat u een slechte ervaring heeft gehad. Mocht u ooit in de buurt zijn, dan helpen we u graag om van gedachten te veranderen.

Relaxation and kindness
The rooms are comfortable warm and equipped with everything you need. Overlooking the garden.
All staff are very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful.
The guided tour with sommelier Francesca was very pleasant. She very prepared and helpful and also very nice. Excellent wines. In fact, we bought some bottles.
In the evening we had dinner in the adjacent restaurant without having to leave the context. My carnivorous husband ate some excellently prepared meat. I as a vegetarian could choose (following the excellent advice of the staff). I ate the typical vegetarian dishes. And not the usual vegetables.
Dessert then... A real pleasure for the palate. Here too, the highly trained staff answered my thousand questions well.
Also the breakfast well stocked and the staff super friendly and helpful.
Super recommended place.
