Wonderful location, polite staff, excellent cleanliness, but dreadful beds.

We chose to stay at The Hotel Sport because it was conveniently located to places we needed to visit.
The location is great.
Taking via Giuseppe Mazzini - La Stretta and via Seminario, one can get to the beautiful Piazza del Duomo in under 10 minutes on foot.
The Hotel Sport is what one would call "basic."
No frills, but very clean, and well taken care of.
The staff is polite and very helpful.
The Wi-Fi is remarkably good!
We were grateful for the tiny elevator (one person plus 2 medium-sized bags is about all it will take).
A puny little mini-bar (unusually small!) is supplied in the room, but there is no place to leave valuables, so guests must think about that.
The hotel has no bar.
In the diminutive entrance there are 2 vending machines, one for coffee and one for a few soft drinks... but unfortunately, the machines did not seem to work while we were there.
There is a bar next door where one can have the little breakfast that the Hotel offers to guests: croissants and coffee which were just...ok. Decent.
The bar also has a few sandwiches and drinks, some little packets of snacks and industrial ice creams, and tobacco products as well.
It closes at 9pm.
Rooms are very spacious with individual temperature control which worked quite well.
The extremely roomy, well thought-out and spotless bathroom had a wonderful shower.

Buon hotel

Buon hotel semplice ma comodo e pulitissimo,ottimo come appoggio per visitare il centro e i dintorni.
Camera Tripla ben arredata ,davvero pulita e con un bellissimo bagno con finestra,cosa rara.
La colazione viene servita nel bar adiacente con classico cappuccio e cornetto.

OTTIMO

Ottimo hotel, buona accoglienza, camere spaziose così il bagno, con una doccia enorme, pulizia ottima. Pochi metri dal centro. La colazione si effettua la bar adiacente Cappuccino e cornetto).

Soggiornato due notti in questo hotel. Ambiente molto pulito e stanza ampia e confortevole . Colazione all'italiana semplice ma completa. Fiore al occhiello, la gentilezza e la disponibilità del gestore a risolvere ogni nostra richiesta.

Strategico!

Sicuramente il punto di forza di questo Hotel è la posizione vicinissima alla stazione delle FS. Portogruaro non è molto grande e il centro si raggiunge con 10 min. di cammino dall'albergo. Per quanto riguarda i servizi devo dire che è pulito e abbastanza confortevole anche se gli asciugamani sono un pó duri. I letti sono comodissimi diversamente dai cuscini. La colazione è essenziale. C'è altresì un ragazzo tutto fare che dalla reception controlla tutto con grande maestria e attenzione, mostrando cortesia e discrezione. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono.
