Valentino - the kindest Italian receptionist!!!
The rooms are very clean , large and comfortable.
The breakfast is also very good and the location is central!
This is the reason why we are always booking at Valentino ! Again and again !

Perfect location, courtesy, cleanliness and quiet. Excellent stay. No elevator to the rooms.
Great location. Valentino b&b is situated on Via Cavour, a distinctive, sharply angled, Gothic style porticoed street with magnificent bulidings with Renaissance upper floors, and it is right next to the oldest gate in the city, Porta di S. Agnese, one of Portogruaro’s oldest medieval structures.
Nearby there are a couple of excellent restaurants and a coffee bar with delicious sandwiches and pastries.
A short walk over to Calle Bovolni and then down that charming, street takes you to a small bridge that crosses the little canal, providing easy access to the beautiful center of the city.
The owner is very polite and could not be more helpful.
He personally serves the breakfast of fresh bread, butter, marmalades, croissants, yogurt, fruit and coffee or tea in the charming and peaceful dining area or on the lovely patio.
Our bedroom was clean and roomy, with a nice bathroom, and had a large private terrace.
Disliked:
Although the room was fine, the beds were just... ok. The matresses could be better.
The owner very nicely carried our bags upstairs, but it may be important for.some people to know that the rooms are on the first floor and there is no lift.

A WONDERFUL PLACE
the restaurant is first class, attentive service, good food, mostly fish ... we had salmon tartar which was fresh, tasty and reasonable in quantity, followed by tuna fish served like steaks, very crisp outside and extremely tender inside simply delicious
a very good address which one would like to keep for himself
Excellent location
