relaxation and tranquility by the sea
excellent location for a relaxing vacation by the sea. the accommodations inside the pine forest are very quiet. the restaurant staff is kind and helpful

Disappointing structure: hygiene issues, service disruptions, and lack of network.
I stayed at the Hotel Mare Pineta for work reasons, and unfortunately, the experience was decidedly negative. Upon my arrival, the room was dirty, with numerous cockroaches present both near the bed and in the bathroom.
Despite reporting the problem at the front desk every single day, the cleaning service only intervened for the first time on the fourth day of my stay. For the first three days, the room was not touched. As if that weren't enough, when they finally cleaned, they forgot to leave me clean towels (which I had to request personally at the front desk).
Attention note for future guests: do not leave personal items in the bathroom. My deodorant, placed on the sink, mysteriously disappeared after the cleaning service passed through.
Wi-Fi is absent in the room and only works near the reception. The phone signal is also absent in the room and weak in the garden. It is impossible to work or communicate comfortably.
For the rest, the food is average with a fairly varied selection, and beach towels are not included in the price.
The sea of Sardinia is always beautiful, but this land deserves a service and customer attention that are decidedly superior.

Improveable
Hotel with a lot of potential but has many critical points that can be improved with more attention.
Poor cleaning of the room, both at check in, and daily: hair left on the bathroom floor, cobwebs at the window with pine needles remained throughout the stay and very strong sewer smell that was solved with perfume. When the windows were closed in the evening it was quite uncomfortable... And in a week they never changed the sheets although they were a bit dirty.
The breakfast was good but could be improved, with a waiter who responded only to greetings from customers who also met at dinner in half board, the others invisible... Hurry in clearing the tables while still being consumed...
Absence of services between those that were due and those that were not there: no Dinner Service if you had not already booked half board in advance, swimming pool not usable because other guests left towels on the few sunbeds available, absent bar, no internet. For everything you had to take the car. The garden was also taken care of with used glasses left for days on end on tables by the sea. Non-existent beach with a lifeguard who looked at the sea and the phone alone since no one went there.
Parking was a slalom between trees or other badly parked cars...
You can improve with more care and it becomes a beautiful place. I don't reject it, but I hope it gets better treated.

Good solution to visit the beautiful south west coast of Sardinia ...
Hotel in beautiful location in a pine forest by the sea. Our room ( number 50 ) was in very good condition , large and clean . The girls at the reception were kind. At the restaurant we ate well and found very courteous staff. Breakfast buffet varied and plentiful. Small Pool and Entertainment Service absent (it was mid-September) but you could use the facilities of the nearby and larger Flamingo hotel. Negatives are the mediocre wifi ( which only works around the reception ! ) and the beach , apparently sandy but instead with only stones in the water . I would also point out the presence of algae (nobody's fault) and old-fashioned deckchairs on the beach. Maybe a few more directions would not be bad. The location still makes it very convenient to reach the magnificent beaches of Chia and surroundings. Overall , mine is certainly a broadly sufficient 7.5 .

Don't be fooled!
We thought we had found an amazing place, judging by the pictures ....
We were very disappointed by our stay at this hotel in southern Sardinia. The establishment is badly lacking in maintenance: faucet defective, toilet leaking (the floor was constantly soaked), shower wall unclogged... Despite our reports, no technician ever came to solve the problems.
Faced with our discontent, we were finally given another room.
Meals (medium quality) were served in a dining room next to the rooms. However, to have a coffee or an aperitif, we had to go to a nearby hotel (about 200 meters), which is absolutely not convenient or comfortable.
Payment of the rating was only possible at 10:30 p.m., the day before departure, at this same establishment,
a very unprofessional organization, and no site maintenance: we definitely do not recommend.
