Very Nice Hotel with Great Location

We were totally satisfied with our experience at this hotel. It was a good value for comfort of room, large well-appointed bathroom, friendliness of staff, and very good complimentary breakfast. Location was great. It's about a half block away from most of the action. If you prefer having your window open at night there is some road noise but it is much less than it would be on the main waterfront. The room had air conditioning available which worked well.
Recommendations:
*Sky Bar for aperitivo at sunset - you do pay for the view but the snacks included (apericena) are generous and excellent.
*We had a wonderful day walking to Porta Fino and taking a ferry back.
*Funivia (cable car) up to see the church/sanctuary is worth doing. We took the ride up and walked down. If walking you'll want to have sturdy shoes/boots with traction as of it is cobblestone-esque.
*Take advantage of train service to see other cities i.e. Camogli, Genoa (amazing city, seriously underrated imo)

The hotel location and the standards are just the next level! Wonderful rooms and the most amazing staff made our stay unforgettable! Will definitely be back here again!

Lovely

Seafront hotel with amazingly friendly, happy staff. Really comfy rooms, very clean. Breakfast was excellent - prosecco was drunk, and many proper cappuccinos provided. The beach is just opposite and it’s minutes to the ferry for Portofino.

A beautiful stay in the heart of Rapallo

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Astoria in Rapallo. The rooms were spacious, beautifully clean, and offered fantastic views that made our stay even more special.
The coffee was the best we had during our trip, and the staff were truly amazing — warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay.
We loved our time here and will definitely be returning for a longer stay in the future. Highly recommended!

Simply WOW!

A truly pleasant stay at the Hotel Astoria in Rapallo!
We found a welcoming and well-kept environment, with new, spotless rooms and a super comfortable bed that allowed us to sleep very well.
A special thanks to the reception girls: always very kind, smiling, and available for any need. Their hospitality truly made a difference.
The breakfast in the little outdoor garden, in the sun and warmth, was also beautiful: a relaxing moment and perfect to start the day.
Highly recommended, we will gladly return!
