The Garden of Eden is called Residence Olimpo!
Elena, Roberto, and Marina are kind, helpful, generous, hospitable people, ready to fulfill every request, present but never intrusive; in short, they are good people.
Upon our arrival, Elena welcomed us with products from their work, a record-breaking head of lettuce (it must have weighed 2 kg), eggs, red onions from Tropea, and made available the products from their garden and orchard (delicious).
At our departure, we had the opportunity to take home some oil and, why not, red onions from Tropea as well.
The residence, which is completely fenced and therefore very safe, is wonderful; it expands over a large plateau planted with ancient and more recent olive trees, prickly pears, aloe, flowers, fruit trees (lemons, oranges, figs, mulberries, etc.), a thousand flowers, a large garden, farm animals, and ponies.
We were not accommodated in the villas seen in the photos on the website (which are very beautiful and characteristic) but in a nice apartment that is part of a row house of three units. However, thanks to the chosen period (May 25 - June 12), ours was the only one occupied, so we had a lot of freedom and tranquility; in any case, the apartments are very well separated.
The apartment is equipped with every comfort, located on the ground floor at the entrance (facing the park), and has a large terrace on the opposite side surrounded by fragrant jasmine and equipped with a table for outdoor lunches and dinners, from which one enjoys a wonderful view stretching from the tip of Calabria to glimpsing Sicily.
The kitchen is equipped with every tool and utensil for those like us who, after a "hard and tiring" day at the beach, love to cook; a master bedroom, a small bedroom, and a bathroom complete the apartment.
Also included are a washing machine and a barbecue.
Our ideal vacation could be defined as cultural-tanning, alternating visits to nearby towns such as Tropea, Nicotera, Vibo Marina, Zambrone, Pizzo Calabro, etc., or less nearby places like Bagnara Calabra, Scilla, Chianalea, Reggio Calabria, Pentidattilo, Gerace, etc., alternating with long days at the beach, leaving early in the morning (free parking at the beaches is limited or far away), staying at the sea until sunset, enjoying tranquility and the last rays of sun, and perhaps an aperitif..!!
In any case, having a car is practically mandatory if, in addition to the beach located 900 meters from the residence, one wants to enjoy the beautiful beaches and coves that are more beautiful than the last, as well as the wonders of the Coast of the Gods..
The alternative is the train (the Ricadi-Capo Vaticano station is about 2 km from the residence).
In the end, I can only highly recommend Residence Olimpo, not just a place, but a spot that when I return, I will be able to call "Home."

An unforgettable holiday surrounded by the nature of Calabria
We, me with my 9-year-old daughter, spent wonderful Easter holidays at Residence Olimpo at the end of April. This place is simply ideal for a nature holiday. It was very quiet and relaxing. The cozy cottage was fully equipped with everything you need and we felt as comfortable as home. The prices are very cheap and the view is just breathtaking! We particularly liked the attention and care of the warm administrators/owners.
There are also wonderful animals: a horse, a pony, rabbits and chickens. And there are many lemons, bergamots and oranges growing. Nearby is a beautiful sea with crystal clear waters.
A special thank you goes to Roberto, who gave us great tips for eating, shopping and for interesting events.
We highly recommend this place to anyone who loves nature and appreciates genuine hospitality! If you don’t know where to go in low season and have a limited budget, consider Residence Olimpo! You won't regret it and will get more than you expected. Thank you very much for the hospitality!

Olympus 100 and praise.
In this period we found an oasis of peace and tranquility. Breathtaking views from Calabria to Sicily to the Aeolian Islands. Garden in front of each cottage with possibility to make a braciata. You can eat on the lawn with the table and chairs on the porch. Gemma, the residence mascot will steal your smiles and cuddles. We had a really good time... thank you guys.

Beautiful place, a hospitality worthy of good people and a big heart, very good people who make you feel like you are at home and make you feel part of the family a great place with beautiful sea a few minutes drive, I would recommend it to everyone.
