Superb Hotel and Fabulous Staff
Superb Roman travel experience due a great start at the Aleph Rome hotel! The hotel team is super friendly and accommodated us with an early check in after a long voyage from New York. Plus our room was upgraded to a spacious suite with a balcony big enough to host a big party. Lastly, they surprised us with a dessert and champagne. Couldn’t ask for a better hotel experience.

Stunning property let down by non-existent Diamond recognition
The Aleph Rome Hotel boasts an incredible location and undeniably gorgeous, high-end facilities. Visually, the property lives up to the Curio Collection name. However, the service and elite loyalty recognition fell significantly short of expectations.
As a Hilton Honors Diamond member paying upwards of $600 a night, I expected a standard level of acknowledgment and seamless hospitality. Instead, my status was not recognized at check-in or at any point during the stay. I had to reach out multiple times via the whats -app chat just to ask what Diamond benefits applied at this property, and I was never given a concrete or helpful answer.
It was evident that the staff was preoccupied and overwhelmed by a large wedding party hosting events on-site. While private events happen, hosting a large group should never come at the expense of baseline service standards and basic recognition for top-tier members.
It is a beautiful boutique hotel in a prime area, but the management needs to ensure front-desk communication and loyalty program commitments are upheld, even during peak event weekends.

Reception staff were great, very attentive and cordial. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was nice, shower was fantastic, showing a little wear but overall good. Only downside of the room was the view, overlooking an atrium. Air conditioning was ok, only went down to 17c. Roof top bar was not great, the staff avoided interaction, I sat there five times and only asked once if I wanted a drink. Other times I had to ask. The pool was nice, not deep but ok. The pool is not big enough for the hotel and very few sun loungers. No bar menus for food or drinks on tables. Price of a coke is probably why, €8 for a 330ml can, that is extortionate. Overall disappointed with the bar. We had a buffet breakfast included and it was good. The selection is limited and the amount of table space is limited, so you seem to be bumping into people a lot as there is no space. They served tea/coffee and water but the rest is self service. The first breakfast we got baked beans, fantastic but the next two days broccoli!!! Leftovers reheated I assume. They had egg of the day, bacon, pastry and cakes. Turkey sausages which I assume is down to the owners influence. Unfortunately most people prefer pork. The last breakfast I wasn’t happy, I was on my own as my wife and daughter were coming down later. I had my cup of tea, OJ, water, eggs, tomatoes on the table. I went to get bacon, I was gone 20 seconds and when I returned my table was cleared. Staff apologised but seem to be laughing about it,

High End Digs in Central Rome
Stayed recently and had a wonderful time. Room was spacious, even with a cot made up for our son. Breakfast was delicious. The rooftop pool was peeeerfect in this hot weather after a long day of sightseeing (just note it's only open until 6). The staff was helpful and kind. It's in a great location to get to many major sites - be aware it is a few buildings away from the US Embassy and this caused several street closures while we were there. It never interfered with our transport, though. It feels very much like a high end place.

Not Worth The Money
My wife and I booked a suite at this hotel and were very disappointed. For the money we paid we expected a much better experience. The main bathroom floor flooded every time you had a shower and the TV turned itself off every 5 minutes or so - even after we had told reception. We asked for a small amount of milk to accompany the tea/coffee facilities in the suite which then took 25 minutes to arrive after a follow up phone call. Very disappointing and not what we expect as Hilton Honours members. My advice is to find another hotel in Rome.
