excellent structure

I stayed 4 days and felt like home. The owner was very kind and welcoming. I was lucky enough to meet the "grandmother", the owner's mother who treated me and my son with courtesy and care, without missing anything. Optimal

Worst experience ever

Poor hotel, so please avoid. No water in the bathroom for a whole day. Owner kept saying would come back in 10 minutes in our bathroom, while I discovered that the problem occurred in the whole building. Only a small bottle for drinking and washing was provided. Breakfast served in the room can only be for babies (see photo) st 9:00 though we asked the owner to have it at 10am or later because we were tired. We were left in the street peeping the intercom for almost 15 minutes though I reported time of arrival. Uncomfortable sofa bed. Shutter didn’t work so we had to tolerate the sun when it rose. An owner who only speaks Italian frightened my kids with her high voice & hysterical movements. She called Booking customer service and cancelled our second night booking leaving me and my kids in the street with our luggages. She didn’t reply my questions or allow her little daughter who speaks English to answer our questions. I received an email from Booking so that the 2nd night was cancelled. I asked them for a make up for the 1st night but got no reply. They hid my negative review for the hotel. We had to book a real hotel (not a semi ruined hotel like this) but paid a lot of money and a taxi that was a burden to my budget. A while day in Rome was ruined. Owner could have cancelled our booking instead of pretending that the water issue was new. The rooms were all empty. The only guest left in the morning after a big fight because of the water cut.

Zero stars! Waste of money!

I stayed in this so called hotel along with my family. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL. The owner is basically renting rooms out of her own apartment. First of all, there was a language barrier between us and the owner who speaks only Italian and Spanish. When I tried to use google translate to try to understand what she was saying, she got very impatient and started shouting. So I really found this to be totally rude and unacceptable. Moving on to the second issue we had, while booking it said that the “hotel” includes breakfast. The so called breakfast consisted of a very small juice, two croissants and a cappuccino. These portions would only satisfy a 4 year old kid not an adult. You could literally get this breakfast from any supermarket for 3-5 euros. When we asked her for bottled water to drink, she gave us a very small bottle that supposedly the three of us have to drink from. Keeping in mind, the next issue that I will mention which is simply horrif. The third issue we had was that there wasn’t any water in the taps. We couldn’t shower after a very long trip nor use the bathroom and whenever we asked the owner, she would shout and say ten minutes. Apparently these ten minutes lasted forever because until the moment we decided to check out of this dirt hole, the water hadn’t come back. So imagine having to stay in a place with no water which is a very basic human need for more than 15 hours, and God knows when would the water have come back. When we complained, she called booking and kept talking in Italian to them and when we asked her to talk to the Booking representative, she gave us the phone but as soon as we started telling the representatives about the situation, she kept pulling my hand to take the phone in a very aggressive manner. She canceled our second night and simply left us in the streets, searching for another hotel. So a summary for all of what I said, don’t stay there. Very rude owner. Small portions of breakfast. No water in the bathroom. Elevator is very small, bearly takes two people. Very old room. AVOID STAYING IN THIS PLACE AS IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. Avoid!!!!!

PERSONALISED SERVICE

A good homely place in a quiet neighbourhood, run by a very pleasant lady with two adorable kids. Room was very clean with beds expertly made in well laundered sheets. Room had basic amenities – beds, fridge, heat, air- conditioning, closet, TV, table and chairs etc. and Wifi. Nice clean bathroom except for the small shower stall. We really liked the hostess’ very friendly disposition and eagerness to ensure we enjoyed our stay, inspite of the language barrier. Though she speaks Italian, her older daughter translates to English when present. Otherwise, her phone is a welcome aid!
