Usual b&b

Easy to find from railway station by walk, very clean, helpful shared kitchen. The Admin speaks English.
Old bathroom equipment, you can easily hear neghbours, few waffle towels for a week stay, view to a small internal garden and neghbour buildings, no breakfast. Tv didn't work - no probs.
It's good for tourists who walks around all day long- I'd return. Good for its money.

Terrible

Before you even think about staying here, read the fine print. And even then, maybe give this place a miss.
Although this place is close to the terminal, is was the hardest hotel to find in our 5 weeks in Europe. Even the taxi drivers were at a loss.
In the fine print, it says 'Please note that the check-in and key-collection take place at: Via Domenichino 7 at Hotel Martino ai Monti, 00184 Rome' so when you don't see this, and you show the taxi driver the actual address you are staying at (the one the Booking.com app shows you for god sake) , you will arrive terribly confused and stranded.
We ended up having to find another taxi to get us to the actual check in address which was down an obscure street with a tiny sign with the name. The check in address is a whole other hotel, so stupidly confusing. We lugged our bags up the stairs and were told our check wasn't until 3pm, which was fine, but we arrived back just to lug our bags back down the stairs and over to the other hotel. You'd think they would atleast have a porter moving luggage between the locations. If we weren't pretty fit to begin with, we would have had to leave and find another hotel. DONT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE A BIT OLDER/HAVE CHILDREN/HAVE LOTS OF BAGGAGE/NOT PHYSICALLY ABLE/DONT HAVE TIME TO BOTHER WITH THIS SORT OF CRAP SET UP.
So finally we are taken to the next hotel where we would actually be staying. There are about 4 doors to unlock to get in there. You share a kitchen with others. This is fine. The room was very Spartan but this was also fine. What wasn't fine was the left over rubbish not cleaned from the room, or the inadequate fan for cooling the place down. If you are in Rome in the summer, pay the extra amount and get a hotel with air conditioning.
The wifi was terrible and dropped out over and over again. If you need Internet as a lifeline to check tickets/trains/tourist websites/banking (like most tourists) then don't use this hotel because the wifi will sorely disappoint you.
Want a nice shower after a long day in the heat? Don't stay at this place. The water temp was all over the place, you'll be in there for hours trying to get it to work.
I think the last straw was when we were told (between moving from the first hotel location to the second) that breakfast was served at ANOTHER location down the street. So on the Booking.com app, it says 'Breakfast is served daily including hot drinks and croissants' actually means you have to go down the street to a cafe to get your breakfast, and by 'including hot drinks and croissants' they actually mean you get 1xcroissant and 1xhot drink and that's what's you are paying for when it's included in your room rate.
I just can't even.

B & B here stands for Bed & BedBugs.

I'll start with the positives:
The room was adequate, large enough for three people to just sleep in and go out in the day.
Central location next to Santa Maria Maggiore. Walking distance to Termini, Colosseum and Trevi.
Breakfast vouchers for the cafe was good, great quick breakfast on offer at the cafe.
HOWEVER.
The room only had two proper beds, the third bed was a fold out. I was the lucky one who got to sleep on this... I woke up every morning absolutely covered in bed bug bites. The picture included is just a taste of what my body currently looks like.
Also the bathroom wasn't exactly clean..
I wouldn't recommend this B&B. Whilst my two friends in the proper beds were not affected by bed bugs, I am disgusted that somewhere can charge money for a bed which is infested.

Quick stay in Rome

Our flight leaves very early the next morning, we didn't get to enjoy breakfast at the cafe. However we did went to the cafe for coffees that afternoon, it was great!
Liviana's place is an apartment in a building, it has a petite elevator that fits 2 at a time. Rooms were cozy and clean. However the electric outlets in our room wasn't working in our room. The doors were a bit squeaky too. Overall it was a value stay
