Nice hotel and great location

The hotel was very accommodating and stored our bags before the room was ready so that we could join our tour. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location was also great. We were right near the Parliament House so there were police stationed there all the time. We were also a short walk to pantheon and trevi fountain. The coliseum was about a 25 min walk but it took longer because of the crowds. There are many places to eat and shop close by.

Very bad experience - Big health problem

Very disappointing experience in a hotel yet presented as upscale.
We had booked a “premium” suite at about 200 € per night, but the reality is far from the expected level.
Hygienic problems in the room:
dirty hot tub, poorly cleaned bathroom, visible traces on toilet, incomplete cleaning.
The most serious is breakfast:
milk products left at room temperature and mouldy cheese.
We were with a 1 year old baby, and this product was intended for him. Without vigilance on our part, this could have posed a real health problem.
Despite an on-the-spot report and a lot of evidence (photos), the situation was not taken into account properly.
Kind staff, but this does not compensate for the shortcomings noted.
Very disappointed.

We stayed at Colonna Suite del Corso for three nights during our time in Rome. The location was absolutely amazing and made it very convenient to explore the city. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we also enjoyed the breakfast.
Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues that affected our stay. The mattress was, without a doubt, the hardest mattress I have ever slept on, which made it quite difficult to get comfortable at night.
We also noticed that our belongings were becoming noticeably covered in dust, and we suspect the air-conditioning unit may need its filter cleaned or replaced. My boyfriend also began sneezing more than 12 times a day shortly after we arrived, despite not having this issue before our stay, and the sneezing stopped once we left.
Overall, the location, staff, and breakfast were great, but addressing the mattress and checking the air-conditioning filters would make a significant difference to the guest experience.

We’ve stayed in a few hotels in Rome these last few years. So far this has been the best. The place is centrally located, the rooms were big clean and updated. The A/C was cold, which in Europe is almost impossible to find when on a budget. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and walked us to a local lunch place. I would stay there again and recommend to my family and friends. Thank you for making our stay great.

The staff was great!! We had an issue with our hot water going out and the fixed it within 15 minutes.
