A good compromise!

Excellent location, right next to the metro line B, the hotel is part of a useful context if you are passing through or for a short holiday in Rome.
It is definitely not a modern structure but the value for money / location is top.
Good enough breakfast, friendly staff. The rooms have a few naps sign of wear of time but comfortable mattress and functional bathroom. Good cleaning.

Perplexed

The staff is welcoming and helpful. The rooms are particularly small, so they are suitable only if you need to sleep for just one night. The limited spaces create discomfort for placing anything. The bed does not have the sheets.

Terrible, not to be repeated absolutely unless necessary.

True, speculation regarding the prices of hotels and other accommodation facilities in Rome has now become unacceptable and unsustainable due to various reasons such as the massive "tourism" advents from 2022 but this hotel is among those in which I have been, among the worst ever about the value for money. The room that I was "room" assigned to a crazy price was tiny preventing any movement inside the same and was not even equipped with a heavy blanket that could make the winter night less cold and pleasant. The most negative aspect in any case concerns the very poor professionalism and propensity to customers by the receptionists (especially one) who have proved absolutely indifferent not to say hostile in front of customers denying them, including me, even a "good morning" that should be the prerogative of anyone who looks out to play the role of hotel receptionist or any work that involves direct contact with the public.

If they give you room 66, run away...

I stayed at this hotel from 10 to 13 February on a school trip. We didn't expect luxury, but cleanliness did. That should be the bare minimum in any facility.
As soon as we entered the room we found dirty and stained pillowcases in a clear way. We went down to reception to change them, but the new ones were in the same condition too. We then slept for three nights with towels over the pillows. Checking the bed better we noticed further stains on the topper: a situation that to define unpleasant is simplistic and we still hope they were coffee stains. The bathroom seemed acceptable until we got into the shower: presence of i hair everywhere and poor cleaning.
Comparing ourselves with the rest of the class it turned out that this was not an isolated case. In other rooms residue was found on the floor and mold behind the cupboards, with a persistent smell.
Breakfast and dinner did not improve the situation. At breakfast several products did not look fresh (altered-tasting yogurt, sour juices, brioches clearly not of the day). At dinner, the same menu was repeated for two consecutive days and, on one occasion, a piece of plastic was found in a portion of lasagna. Even the fruit did not look fresh.
The staff, moreover, was not very friendly and distant making the meal even more fearsome...
Overall, a stay marked by poor hygiene and minimal or almost no attention to the customer. A thorough review of cleanliness and quality control standards is not advice, but a necessity otherwise keeping such a facility still active makes no sense...
And if all these things have been noticed by a group of 17-year-olds I dare not imagine what an adult experienced in the field would notice...

Unhelpful

It has elevator from the 1st floor. The janitor didn't even bother to help me with the bags.
