Awful hotel only offers limited check in time room was poor

We booked this hotel for 2 nights for a long weekend visit to Rome. Prior to our arrival we let the hotel know our ETA, only to be told we could only check in between certain times, which was going to be impossible as our flight arrived later than the check in time. We were told the only option was to book alternative accommodation for the first night with no possibility for refund. We ended up having to pay for accommodation elsewhere for the first night . When we checked into this hotel the following day, there were no glasses in the room, the shower was faulty and the breakfast was poor. I would definitely avoid staying here it ruined our trip to Rome. AVOID

Find a better hotel for the same money.

We stayed for 4 nights. The staff was very nice and the location of the hotel was great. However, the breakfast wasn’t good and the coffee was terrible. I was missing glasses or cups in the room. The hotel does not allow late check out. We paid extra fees for arrival after 7pm.

Would you really stay for a weekend at Good Life Monti

We stayed at good life Monti for a weekend in June. But I would recommend for everyone to look elsewhere. The floor is not cleaned. No cups in the room. We were many people staying together. But we only got one key. The key got stuck in the door. And no one works here during the day.. No elevator. The breakfast is not worth paying extra. No fruit, no eggs. Dry bread, sweaty cheese etc. we had to pay fees x 2. And another 20 euros for arriving at 22 p.m.
Please find somewhere else to stay.

The only thing going for it is the location

We have just finished our stay in the good life suites. The ‘deluxe suite’ was large and spacious and although a tad worn in parts (wouldn’t say it’s a deluxe suite) Our issues where more around the hospitality side, a few things where missing. There are no cups in the room or the communal area meaning that you cannot have a coffee/tea at your leisure. There was also no water left in the room so on our first night (we arrived late) we had no cups to drink the tap water from and no bottles to drink from. The air con did not work during our stay either. Lastly I found it worrying that prints of passports of other guest where left lying on top of the printer for all to see, the spare keys for each of the rooms was also left on the main counter which anyone had access to. There was limited communication also, I had requested an early breakfast via email (there is no staff there during the day to ask anything to) and I am still waiting a reply along with an email letting them know we had been over charged (charged twice for city tax). Breakfast was just awkward, one person served and the other sat on a sofa on her phone making the whole thing a little strange. Although the room and location are great I believe that you could get something much better for similar price.
