Rome 2026.

Didn’t expect much from this hotel. Rooms are small but very very clean. Wi fi worked well. Don’t expect much from breakfast but in every restaurant we eat food was very good, if is your first time in Italy don’t be surprised when u see on your check few euros that u have to pay for service in restaurants.
Termini is 10 minutes walk from hotel and it’s connected to everything, but even if u want to walk it’s not that far we needed 25 minutes until Colosseum, so hotel is on good location.
Every single person at reception is so kind, nice and helpful.
Overall it was good stay better then expected, only thing that is not that good in the hotel is food, it’s not bad what they have but choice is very limited.

Dont stay here

my partner and i stayed here for 4 nights as i was running rome marathon, we checked in at 9pm the man on reception was nice friendly, he told us that reception control the heat and air con in the room so to dial 9 when we get to our room... there was no phone in our room, in fact there was much of anything. we was shocked at how dirty and out dated this was and immdetially wanted to check out, but with how busy other hotels was due to the marathon this wasnt an option with our budget. the bed cover was just a single sheet with a dirty silky blanket on top which we threw off and slept in hoodies to keep us warm. we was given the first room on the corridor so heard everyone going past, we was underground and our window opened up to a strange alleyway under the ground level. the first night we had to make a noise complaint as other guests was shouting a screaming. we could hear every time someone above us or next door went to the toilet. i requested no service on our first day as it wasnt required, there was not a door hanger to say this so i asked reception who contacted housekeeping, not only was our room cleaned that day but our door was left open until our return about 5pm. i complained to reception who told me there was nothing she could do as housekeeping had already left for the day, taking no responsibilty. The only good thing about this. is the location, we was able to take a short walk either to the train station or to the colosseum each day.

Avoid due to tourist groups

I was there on the tour, not my choice. Location is not too central but doable by foot to reach subway (about 10 min walk), train station -7 minutes, There is a tram stop not too far that we used once. The room itself was not too bad. Interestingly, there was a fridge and water boiler, but no glasses! Our first room had running toilet, so we were moved to another room luckily. That second room was smaller but fine. Main complain is about the stuff. Very rude. The man at breakfast table was watching us closely so that we do not take extra muffin and yell loudly in Italian at the offenders. The lady at front desk was equally rude preventing people to check in before 2 pm even though some rooms probably were available early. The breakfasts were small. The bottom line: it is OK but better to avoid due to the presence of tour groups and attitude of the personnel.

Booked for a week, left after 2 nights.

We booked this because it was close to the station and it was just a little cheaper than most places, I wish we didn’t. The doorframes are all falling off and the doors only close with lots of force! All the plugs and switches are so old they will never have been changed! The bathroom was ok, with only the loose and droopy shower head not good. They can’t advertise working WIFI, it’s rubbish and too slow to use. It’s almost 40 degrees here in Rome and the AC unit looks like it’s about to fall off the wall, you get no personal control over it either! To use the AC you have to contact the front desk to switch it on! Finally the TV was the size of an IPad but for the price that didn’t bother me too much. We booked this for 5 nights and left after 2 with another place booked.

A negative stay to remember to better choose the next

Unfortunately, I believe that some facilities should not even be put in a position to operate. This hotel defines itself as three-star, but lacks essential requirements.
Cold rooms, presence of mold and heating activated only on request, through an old air conditioner extremely noisy, to the point of making it difficult to even talk in the room. Soundproofing is practically non-existent: you can hear every little noise coming from the street.
The hotel was booked for a group of about 40 people, so the discomfort experienced was not an isolated case. Moreover, despite it being clearly agreed that all the economic and bureaucratic aspects should be handled exclusively by me, the tourist tax was requested individually from the guests, contrary to the agreements made, despite my willingness to pay it in a lump sum already at the time of booking.
Absolutely inadequate breakfast: if a property is unable to offer a service, it should not offer it.
Overall very negative experience. The final memory, unfortunately, is a widespread sore throat and cold that affected most of the guests.
