2 night getaway

2 nights in this hotel. Room on the second floor (no elevator but we knew it). Staircase in sublime serpentine.Very small balcony overlooking the street. Large enough to have breakfast in the morning since it is in the room where it is served. We have to make the choices the day before and it is delivered at the requested time. At first I thought it would be noisy (because of the street ) but around 10pm it calms down. Comfortable bed, clean room. Only the hair dryer overheated. Great location. 25min walk from the Vatican. A lot of restaurants in the surrounding streets. We took taxis. 60€ to and from the airport.

While I was originally looking forward to my five night stay at this hotel, I had to leave on the second day at 10:30pm and find another hotel nearby due to bugs in my bed. I was given the opportunity to switch rooms, and requested a new clean sheet to put over the new bed, but twenty minutes later there were bugs on this bed as well. The staff member confirmed the bugs and was very understanding about my reasons for leaving. Thankfully, another hotel was able to accommodate me.
While the staff member was kind and helpful, the manager/person answering the hotel’s email refused to refund for the nights I did not stay, with video proof and a message from their employee. They claim the rooms are cleaned and treated monthly, but in all the years I’ve been traveling I’ve not experienced bugs in or on the bed.

Nice balcony with a lovely view to other terraces. Breakfast was served in the room using a form you filled out the day before. Limited but okay selection with nice coffee. The room had a very rustic character but good ventilation and aircon. The TV had no English channels. Great location in the city center next to Piazza Navona.

Perfect location, just a short block from Piazza Navona, and nearby to the useful #64 bus. Despite crowds of tourists nearby, hotel was very quiet. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast is ordered daily from a menu, and then is delivered to your room at the time you request. Guests should know that the hotel does not have an elevator, so the walk up & down the wide spiral staircase can be a struggle, depending on mobility. Bottom Line: Highly recommended, because of location and price.

Very cute place to stay right in the middle of everything we needed. Staff was very helpful un arranging transportation from airport and to the cruise port.
