Clean, friendly and affordable
The location is great, with only a 2 minute walk to the Metro station Ottaviano (Line A) which took you to places like the Spanish steps and Fontana di trevi in just a few stops. The Metro also took you to Roma Termini central station in about 10-15 minutes.
The owner was very nice and helpful and gave us several tips on where to eat and how to get places. She also booked us a taxi to the airport on the day of departure.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to read your comments, especially because they do not accurately reflect either our property or the experience you expressed to us during your stay.
First of all, I Mulini A Vento has never advertised itself as a hotel. Nowhere on our website, booking platforms, or communications do we describe ourselves as a hotel. We are a small guest accommodation offering rooms, and this is clearly stated before booking. Our rates are fully aligned with the local market for this type of accommodation. Guests looking for hotel services can easily choose one of the many hotels in Rome, which naturally offer different services and prices.
Regarding breakfast, the arrangements are clearly communicated in advance and are consistent with the type of accommodation we provide.
As for the tourist tax, we confirm that it was requested because it is a mandatory local tax established by the Municipality of Rome. All tourists staying in accommodation facilities in Rome are required to pay it. This is not a charge imposed by us, but a legal obligation that applies to all visitors.
Concerning the knife you requested, our rooms are not equipped with cutlery, as we are a small accommodation facility and not a hotel restaurant. Nevertheless, when you asked for one, we promptly provided a plastic knife as a courtesy. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible if the item subsequently broke during use.
What we find most surprising is that, before your departure, you sent us a written message thanking us and telling us that both you and your mother had enjoyed your stay. For this reason, the tone and content of this review appear inconsistent with the feedback you personally provided while staying with us.
We believe that reviews should help future travellers by providing balanced and objective information. This review, in our opinion, does not fairly represent the service received and is disrespectful of the commitment and professionalism that we dedicate to our work every day.
We are proud that the vast majority of our guests have left highly positive reviews, reflecting the care, seriousness, and dedication with which we welcome visitors from all over the world.
Kind regards,
Management

A beautiful experience
Inside the room you will find a comfortable kettle for making tea. If you want a good breakfast you are spoiled for choice just outside the door.
The welcome of Mrs. Cristina completes a nice experience. Recommended to friends!

Very well located, good treatment, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood
There are places to dine and have a drink nearby, a quiet and cozy neighborhood to stay in.
Also very well connected to the Trastevere neighborhood with bus 23, where there are many restaurants, bars and nightlife.
Very good treatment and kindness on the part of the host, he gave us some advice on where to have dinner and a drink.
