Guest house near Termini station at a good price

It is difficult to find a decently priced place near Termini that is also clean and ensuite. This guest house was a good solution for my one night stay. Don't expect a hotel or a hostel, it is a big flat in a very old building with rented rooms. For a short stay, it wasn't bad. The room had a good size and was quite clean. It had a bed, two bedside tables (with plugs nearby), a mirror, a fridge (with complimentary water), a chair, a TV (that I didn't use), a piece of furniture with hangers, a chest of drawers (with blankets inside) and a hair dryer. Very grateful for the air conditioning that worked really well. There was no real view, my room faced an inside patio.
The bathroom was really small, like in really small. There was a tiny basin, a toilet and a small shower. There were toilet rolls, soap and shower gel in a shelf over the mirror. I guess that they were there because using the shower everything gets soaked around.
I had no problems finding the place. I arrived a bit later than expected to the hotel and got a call from the reception desk wondering when I would arrive. I was very close, so there was no problem in the end.
My main problem was the shower. The bathroom was so small that, when you seat in the toilet, you have your feet in the shower. The kettle mentioned is not only in the room, but shared among everyone. However, I asked about it and could use it and a cup. Also, the reception desk wasn't open 24 hours, but thankfully I had no problem when it was closed (at night and the morning after). You get keys and a code for opening the main door and when I left, I had to leave the keys inside and just close my room. I was asked to pay in cash, no card, and I asked for a receipt so I had proof of having paid. The lift was really old and narrow. Not a problem for me because I had just a backpack, but probably complicated if you have some suitcases.

AVOID AT ALL COST.

I would not recommend staying here. The room and facilities felt unsanitary and poorly maintained. There were visible signs of mould and the bedding had holes in it, which is unacceptable for guest accommodation. Overall the cleanliness standards were very disappointing and the condition of the room made the stay uncomfortable.
What concerns me even more is that after my stay I discovered a positive review posted online under my full name on a third-party website which I did not write and did not authorise. My name was used without my permission to publish a review that does not reflect my experience.
Because of both the condition of the property and this issue with the misuse of my identity, I cannot recommend this place and would advise others to avoid it.

Termites! Run!

If the following are not your concerns, you're welcome to choose this place:
Bed termites
Filth & lack of cleanliness
Lack of professionalism
Lack of privacy
Lack of freedom of choice (Limited water supply)
Lack of space
Pricy narrow rooms
Staying in an in-secure neighborhood
We were shocked to see this place still being listed on booking. That must have been shut down by now. Sucking people off their money by showing pre-historic pictures of the place (far from the filthy reality) is an act of fraud/loot in broad day-light.

Absolutely avoid!

Apart from the tiny and above all very dirty bathroom (with insects running around in the shower tray), it is very incorrect to offer the luggage storage service on Booking and then force the customer to come only at certain hours, rather than in the slots indicated for check in/out. Stay away!!!

Optimal

Optimal. Especially in relation to the quality/price ratio and the fact that we booked the previous day in the middle of August.
The staff was extremely kind and helpful, the room was hygienically in excellent condition and lived up to what was advertised.
