Housed in a historical building 700 metres from the Spanish Steps, the H 2000 Romaoffers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and wooden floors. The Trevi Fountain is a 10-minute walk from the property.

To be clear, it's not a hotel. It's a sectioned off portion of a appartment building. Rooms are clean, bed was comfy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. "Breakfast" is included but pretend it's not and eat a better breakfast at a restaurant. Location is close to perfect, everything is in walking distance or an easy bus or metro ride away.
Downside, staff is just at the reception a portion of the day, that makes it possible for anyone to grab your key at the desk.
Doors to the hallway offer zero sound reduction. We got awoken several times by loud discussions in both Indian and Italian.
Would I stay again for a solo travel? Very likely depending on what else was available. Would I stay as a couple or with kids? Not likely.

Poor and disappointing
4 people in a family & only 2 towels provided.
No continental breakfast. 3 yoghurts, 2 juices in the room fridge. 3 packets of dry toast and jam. Hardly breakfast!
Saw receptionist twice so no assistance for information. No leaflets, guidance in the rooms. Said can book taxi to airport but suggested €65, walked around the corner to rank & was the €40 legal price.
Rooms very old, tired and beds thin and low to ground. No window just air con.
Wouldn't stay again.

Unfortunately, there were several disappointing aspects of our stay. The toilet was not cleaned after room service had been in the room, and neither the bed sheets nor the pillowcases were changed during our stay. The bed was simply made each day.
The breakfast, which was advertised as being provided by the hotel, consisted of two croissants in a plastic bag and a small juice carton left outside our room.
In addition, we noticed that staff entered our room several times while we were away. For example, they turned off the air conditioning that we had left on so the room would be cool when we returned in the evening.
The staff were very friendly, and the location is great. However, those were unfortunately the only truly positive aspects of our experience.
