OF SHAME
We went on a surprise family trip and yes, it was really a bitter surprise upon arrival at the accommodation.
We were notified that we were going to arrive late and we were informed that an additional fee would be charged. Upon our arrival, there is no one to greet us, we contact them and they basically tell us that it is too late to come back at 8am.
We were surprised to find ourselves in Rome at 2:30 in the morning with our suitcases on our backs and looking for other accommodation, which we had to pay for.
The treatment was unpleasant, rude and not very empathetic.
As for the accommodation, I can say that it looks old and poorly maintained, I understand that they will take care of it in proportion to how they take care of their guests.
NOTHING recommended!!!

Avoid scammers
There is no receptionist after 10 pm. The Italian lady in the morning is so rude. They claim no smoking but the entrance is so doggy with graffiti on walls and the smell of nicotine is really disappointing when walking in.
I left at 4 30 am to catch my plane and were nearly late because we keep on calling the receptionist and was standing there for 20 minutes he was fast a sleep.
I contact them via email, WhatsApp and they dint want to answer me, so I called booking.com to ask for my refund one moth later and they said they had processed it and should be soon in my account, 2 months later, I contact them again they told the agent from booking.com that they were processing my refund.
So I gave up, I understood they just wanted to ripe me off and booking.com said they couldn't do anything.
Is now February obviously no money. I dont really like to leave bad reviews however I'm guessing I'm not the only one they took money from.
We dint break anything, they lied saying they had refund me but they never did. Be careful when saying here.
They claim to speak spanish, english but the lady receptionist doesn't speak neither of them.

bad customer service! and bad treatment

Thanks for having me at your property.
I will process a negative feedback for the following reasons:
1) when I booked on booking.com it was a double bedroom(matrimoniale uso singola; it means a double bed - see the picture attached) and whenI checked-in I had to argue for my room over the phone with you ;
and you asked to leave a positive comment because you were providing for free the double bedroom. (but I paid for the double room, as the picture attached).
I am wasting my time already for an inefficient check in
2) the touristic tax when leaving.
I tried to pay with 10euros. The guy at the reception didn’t have any change (it is really strange that the receptionist or hotel doesn’t have at least 50euros in coin).
Do not justify by a private message that the hotel can run out of cash??? 7.50euros change?
I tried to pay by card and the guy at the reception said that there was no POS.
So the guy took my 10 euros, and he went to change the money somewhere. I wasted 10minutes of my time to wait the receptionist.
In the meantime I checked behind the reception and there was a POS.
So the payment by card it was possible. He simply lied to me.
Than I asked for the receipt of 3.50euros touristic tax and the guy didn’t understand or he didn’t want to understand.
City tax are exonerated by VAT and you are obliged to issue an invoice according to the law.
Of course the city tax is due; the receptionist saw me in the garden having a dinner, and he'd remind me about the city tax.
I even tried to pay at the check in the city tax by card! and the guy said NO POS.
3) I am waiting for my hotel invoice which I didn’t receive.
4) you want save money with the receptionist, but he didn’t speak Italian or English or French or Portuguese or Spanish.
5) You provide a cattle (hot water) to drink a tea or coffe. But no TEA or coffe is provided.
6) In the picture attached it, you see the double bedrooms at 23euros. I paid on booking.com a double bedroom and you were providing a single bedroom. You should check what you are selling on booking.com. Do not try to make any justification.
7) The receptionist even didn't wear the mask for covid 19 or washed his hands.
I will process this feedback on google review, tripadvisor, and booking.com.
Best regards
