MISLEADING. BAD QUALITY-PRICE VALUE.
I stayed in this so-called Villa Luisa, but once I arrived I realized that it was neither a villa nor a resort. The first thing that struck me was one of the photos, the link of which I report in brackets (https://www.tripadvisor.it/Hotel_Review-g1537406-d1825600-Reviews-B_B_Villa_Luisa-Casarza_Ligure_Province_of_Genoa_Liguria.html#/media/1825600/ 46081471:p/?albumid=101&type=0&category=101) concerned the neighboring villa. In fact, this Villa Luisa was not such, it consists of 4 apartments which rather than being apartments are niches, I don't think they are even up to standard, given that there are no more than two windows which didn't even close properly. The pool is much smaller than in the photo, all it takes is for a fat person to enter and it's impossible to stay in it (it won't even be 2m). Furthermore, the swimming pool is not private but shared with all the other apartments! Returning to that hole of a room, there is a strange smell inside, plus the coffee maker was leaking coffee. The air conditioning only worked the first two days, I asked to fix it and was told that they would come and fix it the next day, but no one showed up. The courtyard is tiny, there isn't even a small table or a light, so in the evening it's not possible to play a game of cards or eat outside.

but in case anyone needs to know .....
....... conveniently close to Sestri Levante, modern clean and well equipped rooms, kid friendly with lots of activities including swimming pool, table tennis & bicycles,secure car parking on the doorstep, free WiFi and plenty of information available about the multitude of activities available locally, very good value .. allowing more of the holiday budget to go towards eating in the super local restaurants or taking an amazing boat trip, super breakfast included with local extras including focaccia and Luisa’s delicious homemade preserves ... the kumquat marmalade is world class ! You couldn’t meet a more charming yet discreet host family !
