Vacation in Val Masino - San Martino
Excellent location, hotel recently well renovated with excellent soundproofed rooms; very welcoming family atmosphere! We particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms, the excellent cooking of Mrs. Cinzia, and the helpfulness and friendliness of Mr. Ilario, who was always ready to give us great advice on routes and trips! Highly recommended hotel for a vacation in Val Masino!...

LITTLE ATTENTION TO THE CUSTOMER
We stayed 2 nights in the wellness suite of this structure still under renovation, located near the center of San Martino and which has a mountain and modern style.
Continental breakfast in the norm, without local and special proposals, especially regarding cold drinks, cold cuts and cheeses , and hot dishes.
For a property that aspires to raise the level of its offer, what we found negative was the poor Welcoming propensity and the lack of understanding towards the needs and demands of customers by the owner, which in our case made the experience very negative.
In particular, on the second day, back from trekking we opted for a shower and sauna in the room. We found that the Jacuzzi system was turned off and cannot be activated by any control in the room (!), we informed the owner by phone asking him to intervene to resolve the situation. Only after more than 30 minutes we saw the sauna/shower cabin re-on, so we contacted him by phone to express our disappointment with that inefficiency, also considering the increase of more than 50% to enjoy that type of services compared to standard rooms.
At that point, instead of handling the situation in a conciliatory way, he even blamed us for it by saying that the night before we had asked for it to be turned off.
Clearly what he reported was not the correct situation because we had simply asked the collaborators how to turn off the lights of the Jacuzzi cabin that otherwise would have disturbed night sleep, as they were not shielded from the furnishings, walls or partitions of the suite, but without depriving us of the possibility of using it at our discretion.
Not acceptable.
To give an idea, I attach photos of what the room looks like "in the dark" with those lights on.
That said, apart from any alleged misunderstanding, which for us could not be such, the answers and the tone of the owner were unacceptable.
The overall judgment can only be bad and we would certainly look for more if we were to return to the valley.

Relaxation and comfort at the top!
I stayed at this hotel and was thrilled! Clean, quiet and in a really great location, perfect for walking and enjoying the surroundings.
The managers are extremely courteous and nice, always available to give useful advice.
The Deluxe Room was wonderful: spacious, bright and attention to detail, a real pleasure to stay there.
Highly recommended, I will definitely return!

New Year's Eve dinner
Total disappointment for the expectations of the menu presented and not corresponding to what we were served. All served in minute portions. Plus sometimes treated rudely by the staff. Not recommended even for those with intolerances, since there were no alternatives, indeed, reduced the dishes that had products to which I was intolerant (the cost remained unchanged even if they removed the products without replacing them). Once we left the place, we resorted to the pantry. We're not going back.

BAD HOSPITALITY!
I start from the positive note: renovated, aesthetically cute, both the room and the dining room and good location to reach the walks and the Val di Mello.
Otherwise not recommended for the Owner's complete lack of hospitality, no understanding towards the needs and demands of customers. Almost rude in his answers.
Half Inn with very poor dinner, pension quality and includes only a small course of first and second (Anything else is counted as extra).
I would definitely look for something else if I were to go back.
