Excellent
I had a really good time. Gorgeous room, large and with disability access. Breakfast ok and dinner really good with excellent food. Everyone really kind. I will definitely go back there.

AVOID
As soon as we arrived at the property, my husband and I were greeted by the manager, whose name we don't even know because he never introduced himself, something that has never happened in the hotels where we have stayed during our travels; on the contrary, we have always established a wonderful relationship. The last night of our stay, he asked us how it was going... after 10 days. The room is very dated but livable. The bathroom was a big disappointment, old with various limescale deposits, and the shower... a nightmare, 70x70, with the showerhead fixed to the wall like in the 70s. The breakfast was quite disappointing. If you wanted to drink something at the bar, you had to wait for the bartender because the other people didn't even know how to make a gin and tonic or a simple spritz. Next year we will definitely return to Sardinia because it is fantastic, but to another hotel.

Excellent location, but the property needs updating.
My girlfriend and I stayed there the first week of August. The hotel is in an excellent location, a stone's throw from the beautiful La Cinta beach. The room I stayed in was average in size for a 3-star hotel, the decor was vintage style, the shower was cramped, and the soundproofing left something to be desired. Bed was quite comfortable, air conditioning was present, rooms and linens were always very clean. Restaurant was standard; we expected a bit more choice at breakfast and to taste something more traditional. Decent value for money.

old facility and lack of courtesy from the owner
I usually do not leave reviews, because I prefer to avoid controversy. In this case, however, I feel it is right to share my experience.
The facility is very old and neglected. It seems it has not been renovated since the 70s: the rooms are dated, poorly maintained, and the absence of an elevator makes the stay even less comfortable.
The room also presented several problems. The shower head would not stay attached to the holder and had to be held by hand during use. The second room connected to the first was also devoid of air conditioning, making the stay decidedly uncomfortable. There wasn't even an adequate space where one could hang up swimsuits and towels.
As soon as we arrived, we asked the owner for information regarding the presence of a shuttle service to reach the nearby beaches (unfortunately, La Cinta had been abnormally invaded by posidonia algae in those days due to previous storms) and we were told to look on the internet on the service management website.
On the last day, having an afternoon flight, we were offered the possibility of taking a shower before departure at a cost of 10 euros per person. In most of the hotels I have frequented, this service is made available to guests for free, but I would have gladly accepted the requested cost anyway. It's a shame that the outdoor shower was in a poor state of cleanliness.
The episode that convinced me to write this review, however, concerns the behavior of the owner, Giorgio. During breakfast on the second and last day, I ordered a latte macchiato at the bar, regularly paying the 3 euros requested, because the milk available at the coffee machine at the buffet was, in my opinion, of very poor quality.
While I was paying, the owner, with a rather haughty and impolite attitude, scolded me because I had taken half a piece of toast from the buffet to take away. I simply intended to eat it later, because I struggle to eat breakfast as soon as I wake up and I hadn't eaten anything. I certainly wasn't filling a bag with food or taking advantage of the buffet.
This incident was the straw that broke the camel's back. A property can be dated, but if you don't invest in maintenance and modernization, at least you expect to be welcomed with politeness, helpfulness, and respect. Unfortunately, in our case, even this was missing, and that is what made the overall experience very disappointing.
