Good, beautiful hotel on Lake Iseo with indoor and outdoor pool and spa area
Very nice hotel located a bit off the beaten path, 20-30 minutes on foot to the town of Sarnico. We liked the spa & pool area very much, an indoor pool with a sauna area and a lounging area in the greenery, an outdoor pool with lounge chairs and a view of the lake. We were there with a dog and got a "VIP" room on the 4th. floor. The room was nice, with a panoramic window (long window, not floor-to-ceiling and only minimally tiltable). Unfortunately, because of the lack of a balcony in the room, you could only hang wet things in the bathroom, and only to a limited extent there. Storage options in the bathroom and also in the closet are limited. Next time, I would only book with a balcony if possible. Air conditioning available and individually adjustable! Underground parking with elevator to the reception and the rooms. The breakfast was good and available both outside and inside. We had dinner at the restaurant once, but found the restaurants in town better in terms of selection and the dishes themselves. On the last day, we found out that the indoor pool also has a really nice sauna area, which is not easily visible if you don't know about it. There is also a massage parlor, which we only saw by chance later, but then did not use. Information at the reception regarding the facilities in the hotel would be really good! In summary: a really good, beautiful hotel and recommended for Lake Iseo.

The best thing about this hotel is definitely the staff. Fast check in, helpful team and very kind waiters at breakfast.
The location is great, right in front of the lake, and our room had an amazing view. The underground parking is huge and free, which is a big plus. Breakfast was good, especially the coffee and croissants. And that's pretty much it for the positives.
The hotel is very big but clearly hasn't been renovated for a long time. When we arrived there was a strange smell in the corridors and also in our room. It honestly smelled a bit like a hospital and was not very pleasant.
The room was big and so was the bathroom, but everything felt old and tired. Even the shower had a strange issue and was spraying water onto the ceiling.
We also tried the pools and spa. The outdoor pool is nice and big, with a great view of the lake. It is not heated, which was actually nice because it was very hot outside. The indoor pool is heated and has some nice water jets, but there was so much chlorine that it was difficult to enjoy.
The sauna situation was also quite funny. One sauna was apparently reserved for VIP Level 2, whatever that means 😅. There are other saunas and a hammam, but you have to pay extra to use them. For a hotel charging around 200 euros per night, I find it quite strange that some facilities are not included.
For me, this is a four star hotel from the seventies, not a four star hotel in 2026.

Overpriced food, tiny servings and rude senior staff.
Our room was basic but ok with a nice view over the pool and lake. There was only a sheet on the bed and no other covering. The next day we were told there was a quilt in a drawer( the only one we hadn’t looked in). It had no cover on it and was not washed between guests but just returned to the drawer. Very unhygienic. If you wanted milk for tea etc you had to go to the bar to get it.
We were distant from anywhere else so booked into the restaurant for dinner due to our late arrival and made a choice from the Thai menu. We decided to share a dish. We ordered a main course with rice. When it arrived there was about half a cup of rice, less than a cup of minced meat and three slices of capsicum. This cost 30 euro and bore no resemblance to the photos of the dishes that they displayed.
Our friends ordered a vegetarian dish. It didn’t even fill the small soup bowl and was even more expensive than our meal.
There was one waitress who served everyone and a barman taking orders employed for the two bus loads of people in our group that they expected.
When we went to settle our account they tried to charge us for items we hadn’t ordered or consumed- this happened to everyone in our large group.
Senior staff were very rude, ignored us at the counter for a long time and were aggressive when we asked for attention.

Fawlty towers real live experience
Hotel is a long way from
Town no restaurant choices nearby. Our dinner first night was like a scene from fawlty towers. One waiter and one waitress for a tour group of 51 people. Food was below average. Rooms ok. Bought salads in sarnico so didn’t have to go through that food experience again. Surely you knew there was two bus loads of tourist coming who had no choice but to eat at your restaurant at 730 at night. Imagine holidays should find a hotel
