Delightful Relais in the ingauno hinterland

Relais Borgofasceo is simply delightful.
Run by Alberto and his two sons, who will make you feel pampered from the first to the last moment.
Breakfast and dinner in a beautiful garden, quality food and wine offer and above all a wonderful stay, in peace and quiet surrounded by the nature of a well-kept country house.
Fantastic value for money.

Elegant restaurant of remarkable quality

I had dinner at the Relais restaurant with my husband on a Saturday evening in September. The place is very nice, elegant and comfortable. The menu well represents Italian cuisine with some Ligurian excellence.
Remarkable flow rates made with high quality raw materials.
Prices are appropriate to the proposed experience.
I highly recommend it.

Good restaurant in the countryside

Quiet place in the countryside, well maintained.
Nicely talkative manager.
Good quality cuisine.
Excellent octopus appetizer, mixed fried and wild berry millefeuille.
Assorted wine list, especially with local wines suitable for fish dishes.

Personalised service in a peaceful setting

We were literally the only people staying here for the final 3 nights before the Relais closes for winter . Lia is an excellent, caring host, who went the extra mile to make us welcome despite the fact that we were at the fag-end of the season . Rooms spotlessly clean and spacious, and huge bed super-comfy . Ample parking (rare in Italy !) and a tasty breakfast, though those who want a full American/English might be a bit disappointed with the choice and quantity . Pity that the much-acclaimed restaurant was not open, but I understand Lia cannot be expected to open up midweek for just two people. But a 3 minute drive takes you to two superb places in the village, and 15 mins in the car will get you to the plethora of excellent eateries in Albenga. Superb VfM all round.
