BEST best to stay in Scala on the Amalfi coast

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely boutique hotel! The BEST place to stay in Scala to escape the very busy and touristic buzz on the coast. The hotel is walking distance from Ravello and Amalfi.
We feel like home and Luisa was super kind and extremely helpful. We didn’t fell like guests but like family members. I strongly suggest the cooking class with Mama Marinella and Antonio. We surely had an amazing moment and also great life experience with their family.
The breakfasts are also super good and the view from our private balcony so beautiful.

The hotel was lovely and staff were great and very helpful. A great service provided via WhatsApp messaging. The hotel is a family run business with only 9 rooms so can give that personal touch. The breakfast included was great with lots of choice and fresh local ingredients. It had a nice little restaurant and lovely cocktails made by Giuseppi were tasty. Get the bus from Amalfi to Scala for €1.50 and a 5 min walk. The beautiful hilltop town of Ravello only 30 min walk along the roads. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay away from the chaos of the Amalfi coast!

A Local Haven away from crowded Amalfi

A lovely hotel with amazing views from the bedroom across to Ravello. The staff were so friendly and super efficient with what’s app messages containing bus timetables etc. The breakfast was delicious and the one evening meal we had was excellent and really good value for money. We didn’t have a car and used the buses - nice and calm from Scala down but a bun fight from Amalfi marina! If you can’t get the bus a taxi was 50 euros. You can walk downhill to Ravello for an evening meal - about 30 minutes - getting the bus back from there to Scala was quiet later in the evening. We loved Mimi’s and Nono’s pizzeria, Ravello.
The jacuzzi and sunbathing deck were also good. Very enjoyable.

Another great experience at Zi'Ntonio

This was our second stay at Hotel Zi'Ntonio, and this year was as great as last year! We are definitely going back for a longer stay next year! They make you feel like you are family, with everyone so pleasant and accommodating. The food in their snacks and cocktails area is fabulous and so affordable. We had delicious lunches there. The breakfast, which is included with your room, is delicious. This is an amazing place and should not be missed. Scala, where the hotel is located, is small and friendly, and is great for escaping the crowded tourist areas on the Amalfi Coast, yet close enough to all of the other areas for accessibility if you want to visit them .

Exquisite hotel and location

Our second visit to Hotel Zi'ntonio this month was as lovely as our first about 2 years ago Beautiful rooms and terrace with gorgeous views of Ravello, surrounding area and ocean. The new rooftop area and jaccuzi a great addition, tho it was a little too cold for us to use it! Friendly and professional family team make a warm and comfortable vibe, and special mention for the breakfasts!
