Hotel David is a great place. The hosts are extremely kind and welcoming. Especially Alexandra, who takes care of the guests like a family. The hotel is 1 minute from the center of Sesto Calende, where you can find the right restaurant. It is located 7-8 minutes from Leonardo's Academy and is extremely suitable for visitors related to Leonardo. I highly recommend Hotel David to all guests of Sesto Calende

Hotel as comfortable as home

For the umpteenth time I have spent the night at the Hotel David, the hospitality of the owner named Alexandra and his entire family from the start of the reception until returning was extraordinary. Nowhere else in Sesto Calende is as comfortable as Hotel David. Clean rooms with compliance with covid protocol standards so it is very healthy to spend the night here. Keep going, keep being the best. God bless you always.

Family and business!!!!!

Warm people always smiling!! Very good breakfast!! Very quiet, and about 2 minutes from the river!!!!!!!Rooms were very warm A/C quiet, and too clean, there is a TV and a small frigde and hot water all day!!The hotel is close to pizzaria and restaurant and near super market.Train station is near. I hope to visit this hotel again.

Hotel David

Stayed in RNo 212. Room was spacious and kept very clean. Housekeeping is obviously doing a very good job. A TV, small fridge are provided. An iron and iron board can be borrowed from the reception. An almirah to hang and store your clothes. The room has a telephone which can connect you to the reception. Reservation can be done conveniently through booking.com. The bathroom is large. In terms of toiletries only a very small soap and shampoo sachet are provided. The towel supply is good. The breakfast is complimentary and so is wifi. The breakfast fare is simple, boiled eggs, bacon, bread, cornflakes, yoghurt, juices, fruit and cakes.
The hotel is walking distance, 700m or ten minutes, from Leonardo facility. The sesto calende railway station is closest to this hotel, being a mere 250m away. The hotel is right across the road from the kayaking club and beginning of an idyllic walkway along the river ticino. The hotel is a little away from the sesto calende square which perhaps is better since it avoids the market place.

Okay...

Pretty average for Sesto, not great by other standards. Staff are super and very helpful but the hotel is run down and lacking. No tea/coffee facilities in the room, noisy rooms. I stayed in 216 and both traffic noise and background noise from the heating pipes did not make for a restful night's sleep. 2-star standard but okay for 1 night in company-paid accommodation.
I had to check out early and the staff arranged breakfast to go the night before. Couldn't fault the service!
