Romantic Stay Next to the City

This hotel was a surprise from start to finish. The property was originally a monastery and is stunning. We stayed here with our small dog and they couldn’t not have been more accommodating to us. Dog friendly is correct. The staff loves dogs and greets your dog everywhere. The food was superb local recipes and delicious. One thing people should know is to communicate any mobility issues. This hotel has stairs. Other than that we couldn’t be happier. We’d happily stay here again.

When Visiting Siena

First and foremost, Monsignior Della Casa is absolutely gorgeous! It's a very old monastery made into a lovely hotel with a great eye for detail.
The staff is warm and charming. They went out of their way to locate a gym on a Sunday that would accommodate us for a day and helped me get an unusual souvenir , in a rush, before our departure.
If you are planning to visit Siena, this hotel is truly a gem!

Surprisingly noisy.

The property was beautiful, though the room was a bit spartan. Breakfast was very good. However, we were very surprised how noisy our room was from being on the street that goes right by the whole side of the hotel. Cars and other vehicles go down the road fast, and we could hear them all racing by quite loudly. A disappointment when we expected it to be a peaceful place - would have been better off just staying in Siena.

How I think it should be.

Possibly hotel Nirvana. Possibly stay forever and write your opus. Possibly reconsider everything you have ever known, leave it at the door and begin again, fall in love fall out and live. Everything was superb. The dinning room was superb

Perfection!

There is no way to describe how beautiful this property is!! It’s like stepping into a dream! The views, the gardens, the gorgeous church, accommodations, every detail is perfection! The restaurant was wonderful, the food was absolutely delicious. They even, graciously, accommodated us one night when we asked for something off the menu. Service our entire stay was excellent! Actually, began even prior to our stay, when the concierge assisted us in setting up transfers and car service. We felt so well cared for during our stay and made for the most wonderful holiday. If you are visiting Siena, you must stay here - you will absolutely love it!
