A great find. Small but very comfortable. Great location, just outside of the Traffic Exclusion Zone. Very helpful staff.

We enjoyed our stay at La Villa di STR very much. Its location was ideal for exploring Siena. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. We had a bit of trouble with the air conditioning when we first arrived, but they were quite responsive and it was quickly resolved. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of offerings that could be eaten indoors or in the quaint courtyard. Same with the nightly happy hour from 5-8:00 PM. We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Overall, we believe it was a terrific value, and we would most certainly return.

A little oasis

A lovely little old palazzo that's been re-purposed successfully. There's a super shaded patio which is just right for enjoying a restorative gin & tonic and we enjoyed the calm that comes with being away from the medieval town centre. But my five star rating is really due to the staff who were so helpful and went beyond the call of duty in so many little ways.

Beautiful boutique hotel. 5 minutes walk out of the city walls. We are a family of 4, they had a suite with 2 bedrooms with nice space. Tower heater and bath floor warmer was a plus! The included breakfast is perfect. If you are driving there is no parking inside but plenty of parking space in the streets close by.

Nice hotel - perfect for a city break

We were allowed to spend one night here. Luckily they got a free parking right in front of the hotel. We were warmly welcomed - and we were told a few restaurant spots - which we gladly accepted and tried out in the evening directly.
Our room was on the 2nd floor. Floor - a small junior suite. The equipment still a little old but very high quality. Everything there - what is needed, the bathroom a little small - but for us definitely sufficient.
In just a few minutes you could walk the old town - before that on the lookout point take beautiful pictures of the city ...
Breakfast was also very good - a nice selection of sweet and savoury food, nice Service - there is an indoor and outdoor area - all very well.
We can definitely recommend the hotel.
We liked it - and above all we found the team very helpful.
