A Hotel that goes above and beyond
My wife and I returned to Sorrento and the Grand Hotel Aminta on our 10 year wedding anniversary to show our two daughters where we got married and honeymooned. The hotel, the staff, the service was just as great, if not better, as our prior stay. The hotel looked liked it had been recently updated and the room was amazing with a breathtaking view of the bay of Naples and Vesuvius in the background. The food was so good that my kids did not want to leave the hotel. Breakfast was a must, then to the pool, then lunch outside by the pool and then back to the pool was their perfect day. All that being said, it was the little things that we will remember that made the trip stand out. For example, the maid staff arranging my daughters stuffed animals in a different way every time they cleaned the room or the bar staff making them special drinks, one of them even made them ballon animals one afternoon, this made their day. It’s not easy to find a great hotel with all the amenities that the Grand Hotel Aminta offers, but it’s the little things that they do that goes above and beyond that will keep us coming back whenever we can.

WE WILL BE BACK!
Let me start by saying the staff is AMAZING! So helpful and attentive. Give Raffaella and Lauren a raise! Rossella and Victoria as well! Always greeting you with a smile and asking how your day or evening was. We wanted to do a private cooking class, and immediately set up the best place for us. Transportation is provided to the main square and runs for early morning until 11:00PM. Breakfast is included in your stay. So many varieties of danish, breads, fruits, cereals, eggs with meats and cheeses just to name some of the selections. The pool is divine. Plenty of seating and waiter service for cold drinks. The dinner menu is a nice change from having to actually leave the hotel. Food and service were good. We only had dinner there one evening. Rooms are small, but could have been the type we choose. It was fine for us. I never found the need to spend a lot of money on hotel rooms, when we are barely in our room other than to sleep. The bed was comfortable and housecleaning did a great job each day making sure the room was fresh and clean when we returned. Needless to say ........WE WILL BE BACK!

Shuttle bus into town worked really well and was very punctual.
We had just the best time ever and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

A beautiful hotel overlooking Sorrento and the bay, there's a regular shuttle bus to and from town but if you're feeling adventurous or like a run, there's a path that takes you into town in 15 minutes, I wouldn't recommend coming back up in the height of Summer.
The hotel is spotless, we had the partial room option and the view from our balcony was breath taking. The pool was beautiful as were the outside grounds. The staff couldn't do enough to help and the breakfast buffet was sumptuous - Tiramisu for breakfast - yes please!

Fantastic stay
Lovely hotel with the most gorgeous views over Sorrento, the Bay Of Naples and Mt Vesuvius. The shuttle bus made access into the town really easy. Service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble.
