Wonderful stay in Sorrento with exceptional hospitality
We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Ostello Le Sirene in Sorrento from 23–27 April. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well-organised, making it a great base for exploring the area.
Our double room was freshly renovated and very comfortable, with great amenities including a mini bar fridge, hair dryer, TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. We especially loved the balcony, which had a table and chairs—perfect for relaxing after a day out.
The location is excellent, very well positioned for easy access to Sorrento town centre, the train station, and the port, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and exploring the surrounding areas.
On the ground floor, there’s also a lovely bistro with a cozy terrace with chairs and tables, perfect for enjoying breakfast, lunch, or dinner in a relaxed setting.
A special mention has to go to Marianna, who truly made our stay exceptional. She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit—always happy to offer advice, answer questions, and make sure we had everything we needed. Her warmth and professionalism really stood out and added a personal touch that made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, we had a fantastic time and would happily return. Thank you for such a memorable visit!

Hotel scam
They are SCAMMERS, they canceled my reservation perhaps to give it to someone else and did not return any of the money to me. They are thieves. They did not allow me to enter the accommodation even knowing that my flight and city train were delayed and it was notified in advance. Even if you arrive after the 3:00 pm check-in time, you should be able to enter at any time, or the next day if you have not canceled. A woman alone in a city she does not know in the middle of the night, I had to make another reservation elsewhere at 9 pm; the next day I was only notified that none of the money would be refunded. So I do not recommend it at all, they are not friendly and did not indicate any of that, they do not have staff to assist you or receive you at night.

Choosing Ostello Le Sirene is the worse
We booked this place and it turned out to be a complete scam. When I arrived, the receptionist was aggressive and showed no understanding of how to treat customers. The elevator is extremely old, very small, and poorly maintained, which makes it feel unsafe. We ended up losing our money and had to look for another hotel at the last minute.
Fortunately, we found a room at Hotel Isabella Sorrento, and it completely saved our trip. The stay was excellent—wonderful service, great rooms, and an overall fantastic experience. I highly recommend Hotel Isabella Sorrento.

Great little Hostel
The staff were really friendly and I was clean and comfy enough! Rooms are a little small for the amount of people in them but overall a good location and a great stay!

NO VAYAN
I had a 3 night booking at this hostel and they cancelled EVERYTHING without giving me refund option or alternative, simply because my flight was delayed and I could not arrive before 20:30.
I advised in advance that I would arrive later for a cause completely beyond my control (flight cancelled due to airport closure), and his response was: “If you don’t arrive before 8.30pm, we cancel your reservation without a refund.” I wasn’t even allowed to arrive the next day! 3 lost nights, without any empathy or flexibility!
Is this hospitality? I doubt it.
They left me stranded in another city, without accommodation and with all advance payment.
Then I saw that many travelers went through the same thing. Read the reviews: there are several cases of people who were also canceled without being paid back for arriving a little late.
A total shame. Booking should take action.
