A good-level Thermal Hotel
A good place to put yourself in "airplane mode" for a few days; Good facility and excellent new management that handles all departments, improving those small flaws of the previous administrations. Chef Venturini is always at the top... when work is passion. Staff always kind, something to improve among the waiters in the dining room, the new maitre d' with a somewhat haughty attitude, bar with ups and downs, receptionists attentive and caring, cleaning adequate, services and assistance in the pools sufficient, SPA amazing. The only negative side is the presence of some rude guests with their young children in tow; the relaxation and quiet that should reign supreme in a place like this are sometimes lacking due to the usual shouting and playground games of people who behave as if stupidity were a virtue, as if everything were owed to them without respecting the tranquility of others and the work of those who strive to try to raise the level of this facility more and more, which is not a playground or a small summer boarding house... and they even think they are funny and have little "jewels of children" in tow, poor things. Opinion not exaggerated, commented on and shared by other guests as well... Any advice on this? The management should set more rules of conduct in the water and in the common areas, and then enforce them; in this way, it would come very close to other high-level thermal complexes. Difficult to manage but possible.

Almost perfect
Very beautiful hotel, immersed in a well-kept and well-maintained park, which makes the environment pleasant and relaxing.
We also really appreciated the cuisine, truly excellent: dishes presented in a masterful way and made with high-quality raw materials. Compliments to Chef Venturini!
The manager is capable and friendly and manages to handle both the staff and the general organization of the facility with great professionalism. All the staff are kind and professional; a special round of applause goes to the helpfulness of the reception and the courtesy of the waiters.
The only real negative note concerns some particularly noisy and ill-mannered children, whose shouting ends up disturbing the tranquility of the other guests.
Being a spa-oriented hotel, many people choose it precisely to rest and relax. It would therefore be appropriate to establish clearer rules, especially in the areas dedicated to wellness and relaxation and in the spaces intended for the evening bar, and to enforce them with greater attention when someone disturbs the other guests. The beautiful thermal pool and the spa, unfortunately, often end up turning into a real water park, with water guns and balls.
With greater attention to the tranquility and respect of the guests, the experience would be truly excellent.
We hope, however, to be able to return soon to this beautiful property.

Second visit: after 2 years, Grand Hotel Comano Terme is still the same luxury, well maintained wellness hotel with it's beautiful Comano Terme Park (34 acres or 14 hectares) scuptured like an enormous Japanese Garden alongside an idyllic mountain stream with views at the surrounding Brenta Dolomiti Mountain peaks.
There are enough entertainment features and programs for young and old.
General staff and management is very forthcoming and multilingual, however all service personnel truly appreciate a view words in Italian if guests are you willing to try....
We are looking forward to our next trip to this beautiful place of calm and civility!
Recommended for vacationers who are not interested in (overpriced) tourist traps where bar hopping is considered the key benefit.
Notes: although the mailing address of the hotel indicates Stenico, the facilicity is just meters outside of Ponte Arche, called after the historic Ponte delle Tre Arche.
The town of Stenico is situated at a 5 km drive up the mountain and has a different character, in my experience, less friendly compared to Ponte Arche.
Be sure to use the physical location of the hotel (on the map) when programming your GPS navigation, do not use the mailing address!
There are enough entertainment features and programs for young and old.
