An unforgettable evening at Ovidius in Sulmona

The dinner at the restaurant of the Hotel Ovidius in Sulmona was a real triumph of elegance, taste and hospitality. Impeccable welcome with a rich and refined aperitif, followed by dinner in a splendid room, probably the most elegant in the province of L’Aquila. Each dish was excellent, with a special note for the crepe pie on pumpkin cream and for the lemon delight, truly unforgettable. Excellent Montepulciano, professional and friendly service, atmosphere made unique by the music of Francesco Mammola. Special thanks to the owner Mariadora for her extraordinary kindness. I will definitely come back and bring many friends.

Excellent at 360°

Clean and quiet hotel with exceptional restaurant. The dinner was enlivened by music by Ennio Morricone, Lucio Dalla and various classics.
The staff is friendly and I particularly recommend the breakfast. Having to eat before the restaurant opened, the bar told me I could come in and help myself to what was there. Patrizia offered to bring me something extra, and despite saying no thank you, I saw her appear with a slice of delicious apple pie while I had tea. Thanks Patrizia!
When I arrived in the evening, the room was too hot, but I reported it to reception where they lowered the temperature and I could spend a comfortable night.
The particular care of cleanliness and hygiene can be seen from the attached photo.

Courtesy, professionalism and passion

I was a guest of this property for 2 nights in half board. The staff is attentive, efficient and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and dinner with local products and homemade specialties. A great experience.
