A beautiful resort in the green heart of Italy
Beautiful property in Brufa, a village between Assisi and Perugia. The resort is located on a hill overlooking Assisi, with a beautiful evening view. The property is spread out, with rooms in several blocks of up to two floors. My room was a suite with a whirlpool tub, modernly furnished. My only criticism was the bathroom at the entrance. There's also a small garden. The spa isn't huge, but it's well-maintained and never crowded. The breakfast is decent, but could be improved; the offerings are rather limited, and the standard tends to be low. The service is impeccable, and everyone is very friendly. There are two restaurants, one Michelin-starred, which are excellent but expensive compared to Umbrian restaurants.

FANTASTIC!
I had an unforgettable experience, having the opportunity to stay in this fantastic establishment for 2 nights. I felt very comfortable in the spa with extremely helpful staff. In the evening, I had the chance to try the exquisite dishes of chef Andrea Impero, and I was equally satisfied with the service in the dining room and the waitress who served us, Gaia. It was a beautiful experience, and I hope to return soon.

Beautiful spa... perhaps a bit small during peak season!!!!
We are definitely talking about a beautiful spa.... with a sauna, steam room, relaxation rooms, and the nice space in front of the sauna with ice to take and spread on the body!!
However, the strong point for me was the starred restaurant.... we ate very well, everything was excellent, truly a nice surprise, compliments!!
Our rooms were on the outside, so to get to the spa, it was necessary to go down some external stairs, and with the rain, it was not great, and then an internal corridor was not the best, but nothing shocking!!
Definitely a positive experience; I did not give the highest score, partly for the reasons mentioned above and also because, in my opinion, during peak times the spa seems a bit small. We went in February on a weekday and did not have any problems, but I would have my doubts during high season... However, I would return during other times!

Great resort.
Great resort in the hills between Perugia and Assisi, surrounded by vineyards and immersed in greenery, very quiet as children are not allowed. The staff is very friendly and kind. Additionally, it has a very good spa.

Considerations after a now habitual visit.
I have been coming here regularly for a couple of years, on a monthly basis, to this magnificent place. I have noticed over time small improvements that have definitely enhanced the experience. Excellent breakfast, varied, from sweet to savory, with attentive waiters catering to every need. A restaurant of quality for sure, although I would suggest offering simpler and less demanding dishes as well. If someone comes for a day, that is perfectly fine, but if, as in my case, one stays for more days, there is a need to eat something less elaborate and more varied. It should also be noted, to be fair, that, upon request, the kitchen has shown a willingness to cater to the guest's wishes. One last consideration, but this is my opinion, it would be appropriate not to be forced to take bottled water but also to have access to the filtered water that the facility provides and makes available for breakfast in the morning. A true gem, the SPA, is I believe the only one in central Italy that reflects the philosophy prevalent in Nordic countries. Unfortunately, some guests pretend not to read ... In any case, the facility is rated with the highest marks.
